is mock fantasy football drafts.
I have my real draft two weeks from tomorrow, and I want to prepare for it. I want to ensure that I have the best draft ever and kill my competition.
It's a 14 team league, I have the 8th pick.
Assuming no one makes real bad picks, I will end up with Lewis, James, or Taylor as my #1, but I am thinking of various scenarios where the rest of the solid #2 backs are gone when I get to my pick (#21) in the second round, and am thinking of doing the unthinkable -- drafting a QB or WR in the second round and then grabbing a 3rd tier guy like Thomas Jones, Tiki Barber et al.
I want to do 100 mock drafts in the next two weeks so I know exactly where everyone's going to fall.

you need at least one RB. The guy behind you is probably going to do the same thing (one WR, one RB), so just decide whether you prefer your top choice at WR and second choice at RB, or vice versa.
I'd also take Faulk or Dillon over Rudi Johnson

If my draft the other night is any indication, you'll be lucky if any RB's worth a damn are left by the time your 3rd round pick comes around; you'll probably be looking at guys like George, Martin, Emmitt, Dunn, and Kevin Jones. I was lucky enough (?) to snag Tiki with the 6th pick in the third round of a 12 team league (previous 3 backs taken were Garner, Thomas Jones, and Bennett; next 3 were Westbrook, George, and Martin).

Westbrook was still on the board that late? Wow. That's a lucky 3rd round pick.

I'm not. I don't know anyplace to do it. I don't want to go and set up a real league just to draft because I don't actually want to have that many leagues.
I just want to draft a million times in the next two weeks, and then aggregate all that info and know exactly where each player will fall in the draft so I can dominate.

yeah, but I don't want to have another team distracting me (I'm already easily distracted by non-work and will probably get fired)

oh, i dont plan on following that team after the draft. its simply for research.
theres even a website devoted to mock drafts, but it seems like it takes awhile to fill

you can only view, you cant actually mock draft unless you own either a pay ESPN Fantasy Football team or have an Insider account.

in the 10 team league i'm in you get a different draft pick every round. everyone picks a card to see where they pick. (ace being one, 2 being two, etc)
then it goes back down in reverse, then we pick again
i like it, keeps it interesting
