who i had at least 5 minutes of conversation with at a party i went to last night:

I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

goldman was the most interesting. i have read alot of his stuff so i was able to ask some questions that i had always wanted answered. lonnergan was cool but i knew him from high school. the rest were more interested on performing for the table than saying anything of interest.

Actually, come to think of it...i'd like to ask Goldman how the hell did he do such poor screenplay's for The General's Daughter and The Dreamcatchers. Even Hearts in Atlantis was a bit dry and pondering. His last decade of scripts have been mostly lackluster.

lonnergan was cool, but like i said i know him from high school so it was mostly a catching up thing. goldman was very interesting. he was quite erudite on a number of topics, mostly the decline of good writing in films over the last 20 years.
short and crystal were funny at first and then they got annoying with constantly trying to attract attention to themselves.
there are alot of stories coming out of crystals theater about what a dick he has been during rehearsals.
