The Hot Wings and Zane Show - 0rz0ski - 03-22-2010
Man, there is nothing in this world more fascinating seeing how the dynamic changes when the Fearless Leader has to take off. I have no idea why the hell people are hating on this show. You rarely get to see this kind of fumbling and to see the guys (Steve excluded, because he pretty much knows how to run the boards and do intros/wrapups) step outside of their comfort zone and do things they aren't used to doing, or haven't done in X years. Frankly, I love it, because it shows how they adapt, and try things out until they figure it out, or remember what it was like back in the day. And it's also awkward.

Anytime the show dynamic is changed up it's nice to experience something different. They do like 300 plus shows a year and you can pretty much count on one hand the number of times that FB, HW or Zane is gone. So those days are neat.
...well, except for when Zane is gone and everyone else isn't making fun of him. That's just plain boring.

Got a chance to listen a little bit this morning. Wow. Sounds totally different. Sort of feels like the show moves at a slightly slower pace. Entertaining as heck, though!

I seriously don't understand why everyone's panties are all in a bunch over this. The show is still funny, it's just a slightly different flavor of funny. Kind of like vanilla Vs french vanilla

I think I've said this before, but my god, it seems like only dumbasses call in nowadays! It's become way more obvious since Steve started making the flashback two to four year old segments, and the callers in those actually provide interesting and intelligent conversation.

I've noticed this, too, but, as a new listener, I was unaware that the callers were ever intelligent. I wonder if they intentionally screen for morons because it's entertaining to listen to the guys tear them up.

I actually think it's gotten worse in the last year or so. I don't know why, but pre-2009 everyone seemed much more amusing.

When I hear stupid callers on other programs, I get mad because the hosts don't start to rip them apart.
