Did anybody else watch the half pipe competition last night? It was pretty awesome. Shaun White is extremely talented. If the Japanese guy could have held it together, I think he could have given him a run for his money. He took the chances necessary, but just couldn't nail the landings.

The West Michigan ThunderHawks are set to open their season at the end of this month. Home games will be played at the Deltaplex on Friday and Saturday nights, between February and May.

The ThunderHawks are part of the Indoor Football League (IFL), which is currently the largest indoor football league in America, at 25 teams. Talent level is probably not quite as high as what we saw with the Rampage, but it's generally considered to be first or second best out of current leagues, along with AF1 (the "new" Arena Football league).

Ticket prices look like they range from $12 to $19 for single games, which is a huge plus over the old Rampage.

...by sending me a text informing me of the Curtis Granderson trade. I was in orientation at my new job, and seriously almost exclaimed, "Fuck!" out loud.

The thing that is the punch in the gut with this trade is that the Tigers dealt him to the Yankees. In time I could learn to live with Curtis being traded, but not to the Yankees. Never to those dickheads.
