Man, there is nothing in this world more fascinating seeing how the dynamic changes when the Fearless Leader has to take off. I have no idea why the hell people are hating on this show. You rarely get to see this kind of fumbling and to see the guys (Steve excluded, because he pretty much knows how to run the boards and do intros/wrapups) step outside of their comfort zone and do things they aren't used to doing, or haven't done in X years. Frankly, I love it, because it shows how they adapt, and try things out until they figure it out, or remember what it was like back in the day. And it's also awkward.

Also, tegroves@comcast.net can suck one.

Oh my God! Just...oh my God! Man, the wheels really do fall off without Burn King there. Good thing they've got the Dynamic Duo of Producers to save the day.

Well guys, what are your opinions about the new station mayors?, I think it seems like a pretty cool idea. I would apply for Myrtle Beach(and still might) but my schedule is so full I don't think I could give the position the attention it deserves

WGRD Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

DOVER, Del. (AP) -- Radio-station operator Regent Communications has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The company says it has reached a restructuring agreement with holders of more than 75 percent of its secured debt. The deal would reduce long-term indebtedness by about $87 million and provide full recovery for holders of unsecured claims.

The Cincinnati-based company said in a court filing in Delaware on Monday that, like other media companies, it has seen advertising revenue drop sharply because of the nationwide economic downturn.

Regent Communications Inc. has about 800 employees and owns 50 AM and 12 FM stations in nine states. It says it owes more than $204 million in secured loans. It lists assets of about $166 million and total debt of about $211 million.

In Grand Rapids, Regent owns and operates WGRD-FM, WLHT-FM, WFGR-FM, WTRV-FM and WNWZ-AM.

Zane Vs Benercrombie: The results

Titan and I embarked on an epic* road trip** to go watch the Race for the Ages. The video is autozoom challenged because of a 5 year old point and shoot, and apparently I have cerebral palsy. Feel free to skip to Part 3 for the race, but the whole event, as seen through our eyes, is best seen with all three videos.

The show video is going to be sweet though, they had a whole play by play setup and 4 or 5 cameras. If you want to see a well made video, wait for them. If you want to listen to Titan and I swear and my stupid point and shoot go crazy, the videos are below.

I tried doing some searches for this but does anyone have the audio they can e-mail me with the guy who says "Freedom isn't free, Free Beer." I find that to be the funniest thing I have ever heard on the show. I am not a podcaster so I can't go that route. Actually if anyone has it written down that would be even better.

So all the guys pranked Zane and told him that it was his duty to run the "Best of" segments while they were gone. Is Eric just the most guillable member of the team and that's why everyone picks on him, or did someone have a preminition that he would deserve it from cutting cast members off with a high decible rendition of "It's Love" for twenty minutes?

I had to send this e-mail to the guys today as I was very dissapointed in FB & HW specifically:

"Picture this, I’m on my way to work this morning, driving along listening to my favorite morning radio show (YOU) and all of a sudden I find myself yelling, out loud in my truck, “GET HIM, GET HIM!!!” I couldn’t wait to hear the severe on-air beating that was about to ensue. My adrenaline started flowing, my senses heightened and I started to smile like the Joker, all because Zane had just mentioned that he was intrigued by the movie Twilight!!! Oh this, this was going to open some flood gates for abuse, I was sure of it and I couldn’t wait any longer!!!

Then, out of nowhere, Free Beer and Hot Wings dashed my hopes and broke my heart by barely letting out so much as a whimper about it. I am so disappointed I almost drove my truck into a tree and ended it right there (that part was added for dramatic effect only)!!!

Seriously though, how could you two not dig your heels in and blast Zane, with every bit of ammo you have, for such a statement???? Hot Wings even did a commentary about the stupidity of Twilight and I often refer to it as Star Wars for chicks and gay guys!

I am thoroughly disappointed in the missed opportunity this morning. Seriously…WTF guys?"

Ok, so I loaded my Farmtown game, and turned on my radio at the same time, and as it was loading I hear myself get symbolicly blasted by The Boys. I'm still feeling a bit scorched yet I can't stop laughing at it.
