The H.R. person who deals with this shit called us in the office and gave us 2 options. 1)We both sign a warning letter and it goes on both of our files that we were involved in racist incident, they agreed that his statement was as bad as mine. 2)He could allow the whole ordeal to disapear and we could continue to co-esist like nothing ever happened. At first he got pissed and went off saying the company was racist and he believed that because the black-white issue is so much more sensitive that he should not have to sign. Once it was explained that the policy goes for all race, religions or personal attacks he walked out and made himself look like THE BIGGEST ASS to ever live.  Why dont you people get your own Sig pic...stop using my X symboll | ||||

When describing a person I do it as easily as possible to get a point across. Do you ever use the term "White people". For example if someone would ask you to desribe Howard Stern, you would most likely say " A tall white big nosed ugly perosn" Or...a better example... Friend X trying to get an idea of what type of crowd hangs out at a certain bar asks me "What typoe of crowd is it?" My answer "Its mainly a white hang out" Or "Its mostly a black crowd" or "Its mainly Latino" or "Its a godd mix of Black, white and latino crowd, alittle of every thing" None of the comments are meant to be offensive. So my answer would have to be NO. I do not agree with you. It think calling someone "Black" is easier than saying "A brownish Color man" just like saying "A White person" is more natural than saying a "Caucasion person" Why dont you people get your own Sig pic...stop using my X symboll | ||||

I would say "white people" as opposed to "whites". it just has a connotation of being very condescending when you refer to a race of people like that. I guess I feel that calling us "blacks" makes it seem like we are subhuman. it may be semantics, but that's how I feel.
