On another note, I heard a man rode down on a portion of debris 70 stories and survived with only 2 broken legs. I heard this on the radio but have yet to find a story documenting it. They need to feel every ounce of physical pain an animal can feel before they are put down. Also major lack of class showing the falling pic on a site dealing with a NY based radio show. Haven't we seen enough gruesome images. Just looking in the sky is enough to form a lump in my throat. Do the right thing here. Take those pics down. You are contradicting your letter to all members.I saw the news from 930 am and was shocked as well.When the buldings collasped I was shocked but when the news showed pictures of a body falling that really hit me as horrific. Yes this is news and yes this is shocking.What you percieve as news and shock that is fitting to post is wrong and disrespectful. By not removing these pictures has nothing to do with your quote of "I do not wish to insult their memories"[those memories of members and moderators who saw this.] Millions of people saw this on the news,thousands of others saw it first hand. Why do you think they are keeping the press out of the recovery area of victims.They the press are selling ratings? Does this board need to sell ratings? This board started from nothing and is where it is now not by disrespect in this form. What about the families? Please show some respect. Please re think your stand. Thank you Joe K P.S. We were arrogant then, thinking we could let this Europe war burn itself out. but when Japan attacked, it woke us up, and we got smart. Unfourtunatly, thoselessons were forgotten over time. They were painfully retaught to us on tuesday. These pictures, gruesome and horrific as they are, will always keep in out minds and the future minds of Americans, of what happened on September 11th, 2001. Seeing those, my fustration and anger and sickness bubble to the surface all over again. For this generation, the lesson we got on tuesday was the same as the past generation had 60 years ago: A problem will not go away if you just don't look at it. It will stay, and get worse, unless you act upon it. God bless those poor souls, and may their needless deaths be avenged. On the news is one thing, they don't zoom in and it's not eternally still. But here it will forever remain. It's one thing to bring attention to a situation, it's another to gain attention from a situation.  | ||||
