| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00  | just finished reading "fierce invalids home from hot climates" by tom robbins. great book... my ex-girlfriend got me intrested in the author with "even cowgirls get the blues" and i've read most of his books now. right now i'm going through my dog-eared copy of The Beat Book till i figure out what to read next. been looking for "american psycho" for the last month, but i always forget to find out who wrote it before i leave for the store. feel kinda weird asking the old lady behind the counter for it, especially now... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | I am waiting for Robert Jordan to write book 10 in the Eye of the World series, but until then, I am now into Wizards First Rule by Terry Goodkind. Excellent sofar, nearly as good as Jordan. 1984 and I am the Cheese were my faves in HS.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | I just started reading Envy, not sure about it yet but I just finished The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison which was amazing, if you like poetry. Actually regardless it was very well written. I also read Sula which was by Toni Morrison as well this summer and decided to read more of her. I would definately recommend both of them. Marshall: A Hero For Our Time" then I picked up "A General's Story" - Omar Bradley's autobiography. I'm very big on WWII bio's. It's always been a passion of mine. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I have been in the process of re-acquainting myself with the Dark Tower series by King (Im halfway through Wizard and Glass) as it was recently announced by the man himself that he is working on not only the next novel, but on completing the series - and soon. After that I'm on to The Talisman, in preperation for Black House. I also picked up my copy of The Dark Knight Returns the other day as well as The Watchmen (both graphic novels), and started thumbing through them. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 01 | Just finished "The Virgin Suicides." Sounds like a girly tome, but it's full of morbidity and told from the POV of a guy. Frighteningly good. Anyone who's seen "Fight Club" but never read the book it was based on should find it now. The book is almost like reading the Fight Club script, minus one part w/Marla only in the book.
