God bless you Opie and Anthony!!! I have lived in VA for a year and the only way I can listen is on SU. I spent a good portion of yesterday having a fucking nervous breakdown because my brother and sister in law work in the immediate vicinity of the Trade Center. Of course, with the lines all tied up, there was no way to find out if they were ok. (turns out that they are fine). Hearing them helped....it was like having two friends from NY that understood how close it was. People here know it was a tragedy, but it's not the same as if you are FROM there.
Thank you Opie and Anthony...hearing your voices really did help.

Jonesin,

I know you absolutely mean nothing bad by it, and I am not in any way attacking you or even mad at you. But can you please change your sig pic? It is just absolutely not true, and it never will be.
Thanks, and happy to hear your family is well.

Another good thing abotu this that I agree with is Anthony discussing the speeches. There is no anger, no emotion. If you listen to the "Day that will live in infamy" speech you can honestly tell that FDR is fucking pissed and hell will reign from this country. When you hear Bush or a Pentagon robot speak you can't tell they're angry, they just sound monotone. There isn't even a great soundbite like "Today is a Day that will live in infamy," there's nothing.

Stand behind our president? Give us something to stand behind.

That was absolutely amazing radio. I didnt' get to listen yesterday but today it was so great to be able to connect with people who were feeling the same thing I was. My heart and prayers go out to everyone who has lost someone, or who can't get in contact with anyone.
Oand A have done an amazing job of proving what we all know, that they are really just 2 guys who can relate to everyday people. I thank them for allowing everyone to express themselves. I left the NY area a few months ago and feel so close to the tragedy but so far b.c it's hard for those who aren't from there to understand it fully. They really gave me that sense of (for lack of a better ward) family today
and on another note josin please get rid of that pic for now, you can feel that way but in light of all that has happened i'm sure there are a few more heros and it's disrespectful at the present time

I've got to say WNEW has been doing a great job dealing with this tragity;but thank God for Anthony;today he voiced the RAGE I'm feeling and pointed out that our government didn't answer other terrorist acts like it:Our military base in Jetta Saudi Arabia, the USS Cole.

Even though the terrorists that blew up flight 103 over Scottland were never really 'Brought to Justice' Ronald Regan bombed Libia and told us later. That is the leadership that we long for now.
