I tuned in ont he way to work...and he was boring as usual, but after the incident he had a few hours of great radio. Informative and real. Maye we can relate when he and the guys are involved with these real life happenings. In any event...my opinion was he along with his staff did a terrific job. Keep all of the families in your prayers. Words cannot tipify how truly changed we all are for just being part of this thing.... Jesus H. Christ The one and only! | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I don't agree at all. I've been a stern fan for a long time, I was disappointed in him today. He was making light of the situation, there was more laughter on that show than should've been today. O&A did the right thing, as did Ron & Fezzy.  | ||||

You know many folks use humor to help them with thier grief. Lets cut a little slack here. I am quite sure the guys will try and lighten the mood just a bit today. | Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | you never want to make light of people's tradgedies, but "gallows humor" is a very important coping technique. some things are just so horrible, you have to remember your sense of humor, or you'll go nuts. its a fine line between being out-of-line and trying to help. hopefully o&a will be able to walk it. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | I hear Stern was on well past noon on Tuesday. Imus was even on until 1 PM on the 'FAN. At around that time, WXRK simulcasted 1010 WINS' feed, and oldies WCBS-FM simulcasted news WCBS-AM. It's good to know WNEW wasn't the 'odd one out' of the five New York Infinity stations because it gives citizens a forum to tell their stories. Did anybody happen to hear what WNEW was airing between midnight and 6 AM, by any chance? Ron & Fez went overtime? | ||||

There is no room for that in this situation. I was so pissed when I heard that ish and Robin and everyone laughing and joking about it. I igve props to O & A for their sincere concern for everyone's well being and letting everyone vent. ...And still these thoughts ring true, to your own self be true and be careful what you learn cause sometimes knowing burns. | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: May. 01 | Wow...you guys miss the point. And I hate to come to his defense. But Stern was magnificent yesterday...today he lightened it up a bit. If O&A crack some jokes..and try and lighten up...will they suck today too? Probably not. Cause it seems your anti-Stern...and you did miss the point TOOL! I listened from 7:15 to 8:45 today...and ys he did crack a joke or two...actually his callers did...not him. If you didn't listen..and you heard he sucked...your source was wrong. I am sure O&A will lighted up a little today...to heal..you need normalcy and stability. So...again...hats off to both HS and O&A for a good informative place for listenters to tune into yesterday...and I am sure today too... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I have to give Howard credit. I was listening and he did a hell of a job. He was getting reports from all his syndicated markets. Yeah he cracked a couple of jokes but most of the time he was serious. Getting coverage from all his syndication markets actually was better than network for a while. Anyone who says different is a lemming O&A fan who will mindlessly follow whatever they think O&A want them to. I hate to say it but I find myself agreeing with alot of what Don & Mike have been saying.
