| Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Last year a woman who drives a school bus was dring down a two lane road in my town. A guy in a van going the opposite direction had pipes straped to his roof. He crossed over and hit the bus head on. The pipes flew into the windshield and smashed this woman's face in. She died. Navy Petty Officer Ruben Rodriguez, who took the flight to meet his wife and children in the Dominican Republic, also died aboard the flight, a family member said. The 32-year-old spent the weekend visiting family in New York after a seven-month stint on the USS Enterprise, the first U.S. aircraft carrier to report for combat in the war on terrorism. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I am friendly with someone who "won". a) He served in Vietnam and was captured, and then helped arrange escapes, thus earning congressional medal of honor; b) He gets married, and lives reasonably well in the Bronx. His wife gets ill, and it turns out that she has some kind of severe allergy disease. c) they move to Georgia to help her, and get caught in a flood, losing almost almost all kinds of possessions. d) they then move to Arizona, and a drunk driver kills his wife crossing the street. I wrote on Tuesday that a real nice one was when a mentally disturbed individual (Corky) heaved you in front of a speeding 12-ton train. Last night, ding ding ding, we had a winner: Woman Mangled in Subway-Push Horror (NYPost) An emotionally disturbed man pushed a woman in front of a subway train at Grand Central Station Thursday- and fellow straphangers grabbed him and held him for police, authorities said. Latchmie Ramsany, 40, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where police said she was likely to lose a foot. The Brooklyn woman also had head injuries. Bellevue listed her in serious condition. Ramsany was standing on an uptown platform at 7:45 p.m. when a man identified as Jackson Roman pushed her in front of a No. 6 train as it entered the station, police said. Other people on the platform tackled Roman and police arrested him. Roman, 35, spent the last year in a psychiatric hospital before being released about a month ago, police said. Cops were looking into a report that he had been picked up a few days ago at Grand Central for acting strangely and then taken to Bellevue, where he was later released. A military police officer on the platform said the suspect was familiar to plainclothes officers working the area. "They knew exactly who this guy was," the MP said.
