The show is still hidden underground, it may as well only be on SU. what is really needed is a couple of serious sponsors who see the value of the show. Businesses can actually get O&A to do prerecorded reads of spots and obviously there are plenty of slots available as per the country music during stop sets. Once KYCY gets that, they will have the money to promote themselves, which they are currently doing very infrequently. If anyone has some advice, I am all ears. Can I declare myself the only other member of the army on this coast beside West Coast Dave? Is there an initiation process? The man with the master plan in SF. He called his shit "poop" | ||||

This is like calling New York "The Big Apple" or New Jersey "Joizee". You will be instantly identified as a tourist and you will be deported. 2) Don't call it "Frisco". See rule #1. In addition, I will personally beat you. 3) There is no good surfing anywhere near San Francisco. Those who surf here are certifiably insane. The water is always icy cold, even in the summer. 4) If you are a smoker, prepare to be treated like a leper. There is no smoking in any bar or restaurant anywhere in California. Yes, really. 5) It is cold in San Francisco during the summer. This is due to the unique climate here. Bring a leather jacket or you will freeze. 6) Prepare to tell your friends and relatives that Los Angeles is 7 hours away. Repeatedly. Californis is much bigger than New Jersey. 7) There are no good bagels anywhere in San Francisco. Don't bother looking. 8) Most of the taxicabs in San Francisco are not yellow. This takes more getting used to than you would think. 9) Yes, there are a lot of gay people in San Francisco. They will leave you alone unless you kneel down in front of a glory hole. 10) San Francisco Republicans are an underground network of operatives who communicate in code and are rarely seen during the daytime. Rumor has it that all 12 of them voted for Bush in the last election. 11) Three words: Humboldt County Green 12) Sourdough and garlic are official food groups. 13) Most San Franciscans do not know what a knish is. 14) San Francisco is not New York. San Franciscans are tired of hearing about how much better New York is. This is due to all the New Yorkers that move here and complain about the buses. 15) We hate LA, too. Feel free to continue bashing them. 16) The food is better in San Francisco. Manhattanites become defensive and indignant when you tell them this. Unless you are intentionally trying to annoy them, keep this fact to yourself. 17) If you drive a stick shift in San Francisco, you are a braver man than I. The hills are so steep that the sidewalks have stairs cut into them. 18) The ocean is to the west. Remember this while driving. I still get confused sometimes. 19) You will not realize exactly how important the eastern time zone is until you no longer live in it. 20) Beware the bushman on Fisherman's Wharf. Just trust me on this one. 21) Ride the cable car when you can. It's mostly for tourists, but locals love them and will hop on whenever they think nobody's looking. 22) People are polite here. This is something San Franciscans are very proud of, so if you want to make friends, be very polite. 23) Most people here are from somewhere else. People who were actually born and raised in San Francisco are very rare, and they will beam with pride when they tell you this. 24) I have no fucking clue why there are so many people from Wisconsin here.
