| Hanger-On Registered: Sep. 00  | I think it's probobly just someone starting some shit, but here's an e-mail i got today. if O&A read this, they should address it on today's show. Dear O&A Listener: It brings me great pleasure to inform you that Opie and Anthony will soon be silenced. Whether you are a casual listener or a devoted fan, you will not be able to ignore what you are about to read. It has been brought to my attention that the real mastermind behind the O&A Show is looking to distance himself from any future involvement. He is a high profile morning personality in a very small market. If it wasn't for this man, Opie would still be a forgettable jock stuck in a low paying job at a nothing station, where he will be heading soon. This man is responsible for giving Opie the insight to latch on to someone with above average talent to co-host a radio show with him. This is how Anthony got into the picture. Though not a cool guy, he was and continues to be the voice that carries the show. Anthony is credited not only with keeping the show afloat, but at some moments actually being entertaining! All this with mediocre guests at best and material that is as old as they are. This act would not survive regardless of what is about to happen, but mark my words, they will soon be removed from the position they are in to where they rightfully belong. A team this unpolished has to be either genius or lucky. Luck is what brought them to where they are today. But that is over. These wannabe cool guys are about to find out just how untalented they really are. The listeners of America, hungry for a champion, will at last find one in the near future. Remember West Coast Dave called and said he has a friend who works at KYCY and he can't pull a signal from INSIDE THE GODDAMN STATION! I am moving out there soon and it would be nice to actually be able to hear O&A out there and be able to set up a feed. So Oakland, San Jose....wherever...works for me! More feeds are more gooder!
