The little altercation that took place above is a perfect example of why this program is instituted. There a few things you newer guys should learn, and one is when to joke and when not to. They come here to talk with people, have fun, and possibly become a poster that people will know and love. Use the board wisely and you will be fine. | ||||

Here's is a board member that realized the necessity for guidance. Not necessarily adoption, but guidance. That's what the program is all about. Those who know, share with those that don't. It was clearly stated not to defile this thread which you did. You have two choices shut up and get adopted or you will get another strike and the third one will be game over. Whenever Opie pulls this routine, he gives the person NOTHING to work with and the "fight" is over in seconds and nobody cares. Too often (like IGM here) newbies get bashed for doing something inappropriate or dumb. So what. Everybody screws up now and then. But, instead of saying "Yeah, I screwed up, sorry." They proceed to fight back against any and everybody who says anything about it. It's just pointless. Ask yourself, "do I really care about this? Is anybody even going to remember this tomorrow?" Yes, sometimes, when your right about something, you fight about it. But when you screw up, just admit and move on. Nobody's even going to remember it tomorrow unless you make a big deal about it today. *I won't defile this thread with anymore responses to IGM.
