He has probably been hanging around and not getting attention from O&A so he thought he'd get some attention from them and maybe sympathy. The kid probably has no friends and he wanted some airtime maybe he wanted to fit in. I think opie took it too far by firing him though. He didnt do anything too bad, or atleast to deserve firing.
