I debated putting this in the music forum, but since Brother Joe is a contributor to the show, (and since he spends the majority of his time on the board in GD), I am putting this here. I apologize if it's already been mentioned.

From melodicrock.com

Much loved AOR vocalist Hugo is back on the road. In fact, he is fronting Journey - sort of...
The #1 Journey Tribute Band in the World - Featuring Hugo Valentine as Steve Perry & Eddie Jelley (formerly w/ The Good Rats) as Neal Schon, Lance Millard (Bad Medicine) as Jonathan Cain, Joe Cumia (formerly w/ The Good Rats) as Ross Valory & John Cappadonna (Bad Medicine) as Steve Smith. The band will be making their 1st New York Appearance @ Mulcahy's in Wantagh on June 1, 2002!
Stay tuned for more on the guys and their plans...

You should have held out to be Neal Schon, Joe. ;)

Don't laugh. I've heard them, and they are really good. I don't think the ladies will have a hard time looking at Hugo. My wife met him years ago, and still remembers him.

Journey? Lets welcome this with open arms and show brother Joe that we will fallow him faithfully. You know, sometimes you can't have it any way you want it in the music buisness, and for all you none believers, don't stop believin. After a while, we will see whos crying. But you know what? When the lights go down on the stage, we will all go our seperate ways.

I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker!

Yes it's true, and don't think I haven't been making fun of him for the last three months because of it.

As gay as it sounds, it's actually a very good gig for him.

Everybody has a tribute band these days. Some are very successful. Look at Backstreets or Kiss Army.

And from what Joe has told me, this is a serious gig, they travel all over the place and get paid pretty well for it.

Bro, don't take it so hard..........let's face it, on top of the Journey tribute band and The Good Rats (who have been around since my fathers group Jitter Bug Jones for gods sake), you have the numerous Patty Duke song parodies to your credit. They are just jelous.

I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker!

Jitterbug Jones!!!! Holy shit haven't heard that name in a while....

o.k. once and for all...

The folks that listen to journey...good rats...etc.... are in thier 30's- 40's. they are the people that spend money. Unless you are one of the lucky "lottery of rock" winners such as S.T.P., Chili peppers, Staind....etc.., you have to play for the people that spend the most money to make the most money. awww, fuckit...ok I'm a whore, but I'm getting paid to do what I love to do..play guitar/bass. By the way, ARUBA ROCKS!!!!! have a great week and I'll see you guys soon!!

Just remember that the wheel in the sky keeps on turnin. You don't know where you'll be tomorrow.

Nobody fucks with Dice, Dice does the fuckin!
I got into a fight in FU one time and this guy sez "F you man" so I sez "F you right back, sir, get it? In an hour? Back?" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! It was great! Then he sez "You're a semon slurper". So I sez "Yeah, off your mom's butt". HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! It was a good one I tell you. Well, later that evening another guy joined the fracus. So he sez, "Go f yourself DIG!" So I sez "Yeah, swallow my banna juice." I was LMAOSLINSMOD!! What a wonderful and memoriable fight that was. I stole this scrolling mindless banter idea off of someone's sig. It has a kind of ring to it that reminds me of the way men did things when the were dinosaurs. Poop is nice too but I don't want to step in any anytime soon. LMAO! I find such messages more interesting than many of the posts I read on this board, including my own. I suck. BLAH BLAH BLAH POOP!
