No way O&A are getting dropped in Cleveland. Besides, WXTM is saying that they're staying on.

Detroit could be a possibility as the added station, giving the success of the show in Cleveland. O&A would probably go over well on 89X, if the station's still around.

Yeah, Vegas is still okay, unless the PD is an absolute moron, which is always a possibility. Vegas is in the clear, but that doesn't mean it's not a shithole (and it most certainly does not rule)

As for the new city, I'll say St. Louis, just for the fuck of it and since nobody else has said it.

If whoever instant feedbacked Opie and picked out the two cities has access to the board they could just say who the two were. I think someone else also instant feedbacked anthony and got one of them right.

I definitly think that one of the cities on it's way out is San Fran though. Opie's exact words to one of the first guys to call and accuse San Fran of dropping were " Yeah it isn't looking to good for San Francisco right now man." Then Opie tried to backpedal and start asking if San Fran was one of the cities to leave (Trying to cover the fact he already pretty much stated that they were.)That's just the way I saw it anyway.

Just a thought: Although we have little control over Management's programming decisions, it never hurts to let your station know that Opie and Anthony have listeners. So, if you are truly concerned that the boys will be dropped. Call your station and let them know that you are out there are listening. Infinity is in negotiation with Arbitron currently and no Infinity station can use Arbitron numbers to help them sell spots. Therefore direct listener response is very beneficial at the moment.Let them know that we are out there and listening. If you need any help getting though to the stations I will help. Just let me know. ANYTHING FOR THE GOOD OF THE SHOW!

Wrote WAZU, it's not them. They're guess is San Fran and Dallas.

What's up with Louisiana though? Check out Tom's website in Louisiana, "OUT OF ORDER".

Last radio station website I saw that said that, switched formats.

Deminski & Doyle suck. They need to go away, forever like.

the odds of O&A being added to the station out here in Los Angeles seem pretty slim to me. KLSX has Stern in the morning. They have the number one rated 12-3 show on in that time slot (Frosty, Heidi, and Frank). Than they've got Leykis until 8pm. It's possible they'd throw O&A on tape delay after Leykis to replace the god awful Conway and Steckler show which has a listenership of about 30 senior citizens. Doubtful though.

Frosty, Heidi, and Frank are No. 1!???!!! Dare I
say it, I'd rather hear D & M. Having the boys
after Leykis would be better than nothing but I
doubt it. Looks like ESPN radio for me. :m

Fruity, Heinous, and Flank suck but they blow away Don & Mike. top ratings in the 12-3 time slot is no great feat, especially in Los Angeles. 12-3 is the invalid bracket. Nothing but cancer patients, geriatrics, and toddlers.

Say goodbye to Rochester, NY. I was the one (probably only) pissed off listener who instant feedback'd Ant. The suprise about it I would assume is the Op and Bro. Wease connection. Apparently almost killing Opie in a car accident wasn't enough, now WCMF has to kill the show too. As far as the other city, I am not sure... But 1 out of 2 ain't bad.

Rochester was my guess too. What tipped me off was Opie saying it would be a suprise and that they couldn't sell it. Since the show is on in Buffalo live, it must be hard to sell it on tape delay.

Hello Lady and Gentlemens:

Sadly, KJCE FM (Austin) has dropped both Don & Mike and Opie & Anthony effective today.
In place of Don & Mike will be Sporting Newz from 10:00 to 11:00 and then a rebroadcast of The Phil Hendrie Show. From 11:00 to 2:00, "Talk Personality of the Year", Sean Hannity will be replacing Opie & Anthony.

Long live SU

That sucks. but for Texas, Austin means little. It's getting a better spot in Dallas that is key.

I think someone had said that Houston wasn't in the deal the boys signed.

But San Antonio is a decent sized market (like top 35). There are only 2 rock stations there and one of them is all classic rock. Kiss FM 99.5 is a rock station owned by Cox.

Hopefully a competitor will pick up the show in rochester... Opie said something about them picking up the show in one city due to competition, here's an idea, trying running the show from 3-7. It has to do better than the dick that is there now playing the same classic rock blocks over and over. Ahh piss. Thank God for SU.

You're prolly right about Austin, but I'm honestly surprised. On wednesday last week, the station did a WOW sticker drop down on the Drag. And, with the UT (University of Texas) student population (50,000+), I'd figure that O&A would do well here. I could see O&A in Houston, but not in San Antonio -- but then what do I know?

Well it looks like Austin is out. If my recollections are correct bHoward was canceled in Austin too. His station was bought by Nationwide Insurance and then caved in to religious protesters. He had the highest ratings in that market ….and like O&A did today, went on a long rant about the religious right, supporting the sponsors and questioning Nationwides motives. If you like the show …you have to support the sponsors…..even if it’s sending them a supporting email.

….actually Austin…far from being a hick town… is pretty sophisticated …also if you ask me O&A …ARE… the right wing….. they should look at blaming the religious right......so called "conservative radio" is considered a safe sell these days.

Hopefully O&A can get back on an FM station out here in Austin. They wasn't any promotion for them out here(except word of mouth). I think if they were to get on an FM station and the college community was told about them that they'd do really well in Austin.

I'm confident it's Detroit as well. The big clue being Op saying "2 guys aren't fitting in as well as they thought".

It it is Detroit, Blaine will be able to listen to the boys again.

Starw, not if you were in a market hoping to get O&A. Alot of fans relocate to cities that don't carry the show and would like more than just SU.

I'd like to see them get picked up in Hartford, I live in New Haven which is just about where the WNEW signal dies.

Jack, I agree. I went to school in Amherst, Ma and was used to the boys on AAF. But Hartford and Springfield were stations came in while Boston atations didn't.

So I got pretty used to WMRQ. Not to mention I drive from NY to Boston every 2-3 weeks and have no WNEw or WBCN signal for almost an hour of the drive in CT.

The best thing about WMRQ is that the signal is 104.1, the same as WBCN. So in all of MA and CT you'd get O and A. Dee Snider is the morning guy at WMRQ...one of the earlier O and A guests...before he went into radio.

Formatwise, it would be a perfect fit for O and A. PERFECT! Hard rock format, etc. But it's a Clear Channel station. Infinity has shit in CT.
