Note that this is not in any way board endorsed, but I think it's something everyone could benefit from.

I assume that everyone on the board listens to the show live. Many might even stick around for Ron & Fez. But there is a whole underworld out there that seldom see the sunlight and work some crazy hours. I used to be one of these nightwalkers during an overnight stint a few years back.

Now to the point...

As it is right now, WNEW broadcasts best-ofs of Don and Mike during the week. I know, it concerns few of us as we listen live. But there are people who might listen to some of the shows on WNEW nad due to their personal schedules, never listen to Opie and Anthony.

I think it's time for a change in that area.

MY guess is that D&M were put on the overnights to help spark interest as they were "the new show". But the overall midday numbers have been awful. The WNEW numbers in generla have not been so great. So it would seem to me that the best thing for the station = the best thing for Opie and Anthony, would be for the station to broadcast best-of's from it's TOP show, rather than one of the poorer rated shows.

I'm including the email address for Jeremy Coleman. For those living under a rock, he is the Program Director for WNEW. I've sent him an email aksing for the change.

Granted, it is just the overnight slot. And most of s won't be around to listen. But there are people out there who would benefit from the change and in the long run, it cna only help out O&A.

Here's Jeremy's info:

Ah nah nah.. sorry had to remove it.

I like the idea of rebroadcasting the show at night. It would be good even for people who heard the 3-7 original, because there would be people who missed parts. The only problem is that it would only be a matter of time before people start bitching that they're hearing the same bits over and over.

Those people should invest in a tuning knob for their radio.

Exactly. I'd rather hear something 2 or 3 times than not at all. If I hear a bit that i didn't like or one that I've heard too much, I listen to krock or 104.1

Ah, Mr. Arms, I got the email address from WNEW in response to my general inquiry about where to send programming questions.

So I don't see any reason to take the address off.

AmericanPsycho, I am agreeing with you on O&A at night, but this e-mail is not public knowledge. I believe Froy would be the final say on this and if I am mistaken, I apologies.

Again, I got it from a WNEW employee. It's no different than if ANYONE were to call WNEW and ask for Mr. Colemans address. It's what people do when they want to contact management about programming.

And while I know if shouldn't matter, I got the address form Al Dukes of the Ron & Fez show. The same Al that only has a job because Jeremy is keeping him around (jk).

I'll stress again, that jeremy's email address (which I listed) IS public information. You just need to ask for it. I did. And now I'm passing it on to help the cause. No harm, no foul.

But if you want to play it safe, all that people need to do is...

CALL...

JColeman, the program director from WNEW,
@CBS via the WNEW number available on WNEW
.com
