| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Dec. 00  | Okay folks - Just 8 days left so far and we have a very decent attendance coming. If you emailed me and said you're coming, please let me know if things changed. If you don't show and I don't know about it, your name will dragged through the mud on the board. So it's in your best interest to let me know before so you can prevent that. If you're gonna come to play and haven't sent me an email, BE DIALIN and do it now. I gotta reserve tables. HOW THE TOURNEY WILL WORK Please note that this is very subject to change the day of the tournament. I'd like to remind you that it's in the spirit of fun and board support that we're doing this so don't bitch at me cuz you don't like how it works or how I'm gonna handle things. Okay? Nuff said. 1. It's gonna be co-ed. Guys and girls mixed against each other. It's not a men against women. It just means that I don't have enough people to seperate the two. So you may play against a guy or a girl. 2. Two categories: Beginners and "I'll kick your ass cuz I think I know how to play" 3. Each category will have it's own champion. Then the beginners champion plays the Cocky champion for the Grand Champion. For you tools that are saying "That's Not Fair" to yourself - no, it is fair cuz I'm gonna handicap the "Cocky" champ based on the two skill levels. See? Everything is nicey nice. 4. Who plays who and goes on works like this. Double elimination random round robin for the first two rounds. Single elimination after that. What the fuck does that mean? Well, it's like this. Your name goes in a hat and everyone chooses a name out of that hat. That's who you play for round one. We do the same thing for round two. After round two, those with 2 losses are eliminated. Remaining players do the hat thing again. This time, one loss and you're gone. We keep going til one person is left standing. If there is an odd count at any point, the person with the least amount of losses gets a bypass. If the loss are tied, the judge (ME) decides who gets the pass. AGAIN, keep in mind that we're doing this for fun and to support the board. If you think I'm outta of my fucking mind or "that's not fair" or "it'll never work" or "Grumpy's an asshole", well, ya know what? Check your competitive ego ass at the door and Fuck you!
