Many more people are working in the private sector (have you heard something called COMPUTERS or the INTERNET?) And if you don't like it, don't blame DC, blame the assholes from across the country who keep electing them. Going by your little rant (and who says the south has the market cornered with racisits) it's hard to tell where you've actually visited DC - the "ghetto" here is a very small part of the city, and trust me - it's a hellofalot nicer than places in Detroit, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Boston, Los Angeles, or New York. Not really a lot of unemployment here, either - much lower than the national average. "(Working for the Government does not count" I'll be sure and pass that along to the families of the people who were murdered in Oklahoma City - people killed because they worked for the Government...oh, excuse me...that's not real work. Besides...what exactly did any of that have to do with O&A and their ratings??? Hey, I work for the Govt, I pay my taxes, and I pay $980+ for an apartment that is 35 miles away from my work. The best thing about DC is that it is still in the USA. I've lived in the DC area for a long time now, I think it's a nicer place to live than all of the others as far as quality of life goes. Fairfax county has the 2nd highest income level in the nation. You can't beat Northern Va as a place to live. The people are another matter. I've never seen a bigger collection of phonies, wannabees, and pussyboys anywhere in my life, not to mention the fact that everyone here is either a PC liberal asshole or a stupid inbred redneck. I've got no use for either. (although, at least you can have a beer with a redneck) If all of the cities that O & A broadcast to, had a fighting tournament, DC would be tied for last with San Francisco. Not that that would prove anything, but DC people need to get real, the New York area has 21 million people, you have to add Baltimore's metro area to DC's just to get 7 million people, Of course NY is going to get more attention. So everyone just shut up and get along. Those fucking ragheads hit both of our cities. That's the real enemy.
