Somehow WAAF's staffers always make news on April 1st. According to published news reports and wires services, WAAF's midday host and music director, John "The Ozone" Osterlind, (http://www.waaf.com/new_jocks_ozone.shtml) was arrested and charged by Lowell Police Department for marijuana possession, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct on Sunday(4/1). Osterlind, 34, was hosting WAAF's annual Beach Party concert at Lowell's Tsongas Arena on Saturday night. According to police reports, Osterlind attended an after-party at the Marriott Courtside Hotel in Lowell. Around 1:30am, Lowell Police Department responded to the hotel after guests complained about a loud party that had spilled from several rooms into a hallway. When police arrived, Osterlind refused to quiet down. He was subdued after a brief struggle with police. He was booked at Lowell Police station at 2am. During his booking police found a small amount of marijuana in his possession. Osterlind posted $25 bail and was released. He was scheduled to appear at Lowell District Court on Monday morning(4/2). Osterlind was not on the air on Monday but was expected to return to work on Tuesday according to station sources. Ostelind had joined WAAF in 1992 and was named station's music director in 1994. He recently auditioned for a vacant morning talk show host job at Entercom's sister-station WRKO AM 680 and was very impressive. | ||||

Now, I could start pointing out that you don't seem to be able to use the proper punctuation in your posts, but I don't really see the point. As for misspelling a word, they both mean the same thing, they both mean yes, so it really wasn't something that Froy needed to point out. Gonzostyle has been here as long as I have, he posts far more often than I do, he made the same mistake, why don't you take a shot a him? Tell me how it turns out. | ||||
