| Psychopath Registered: Jul. 00  | (I'm only posting this in GD, because this may be of interest to O & A) Birdesey is out at WAAF : This doesn't match the magnitude of this week's Ch.7-Kim Carriagan fallout, but still qualifies as "What Were They Thinking?!" move. On April 13th, months after getting into hot water over playing mock secret taped confessions from a Catholic church (BRW 11/5/00), Tom Birdsey of the Rocko and Birdsey #1(among 18-34 males) afternoon drive team was told he no longer has a job at Entercom Boston's active rocker WAAF-107.3FM. The firing was reportedly over not turning in a renewal contract on time. Rocko and Birdsey had co-hosted WAAF's top-rated afternoon drive since July 1998. Rocko is flying solo for now.... | ||||

Even when he took over drive time at first he was alright, it was just when that other fat shit Birdsay came on that they became pretty lame. Even the supposed "bad ass" confessions was lame in its execution. And I don't even want to start on the stupifying nature of Rocko's wedding. Anyway, you still have to give Rocko credit for helping to land Godsmack. So I will still listen to him until O&A get syndicated up here in the Western Mass area (ie something other than BCN which I don't get out here). Or at least until I decide to listen to syndication underground (help there would be appreciated, i'm stupid). | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Aug. 00 | You know Mike that's a good question. Maybe Rocko just didn't like Birdsay and I would completely understand that. Birdsay sucked ass. So if they weren't really friends then I would keep my job too. Plus, Rocco was there first. I'm sure that if something like this happened to O or A then the other would quit though since they are a package deal. Birdsay was just A LOT of dead weight. Thanks for the link, perv. Can't wait to try it out tomorrow. | ||||
