There still is the slight chance that some negotiations could go on over the weekend, but I'm not holding out much hope. I concur with Jon's sentiments on the matter though. It was an incredible 3 years and if this really is it until they find a new job I will greatly miss them. They are the only reason I'm able to stay awake on my hour drive home with all the laughter they supplied. You guys are the best! :) "What are you speaking, German Brian?"

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | I'd like to thank O&A for leaving radio with sex and violence (both of which being recorded to share with the fans unlike Howard who pays for nudity but doesn't share it), a defector returns to the show he so obviously likes better (seriously, anyone else agree?), comedy, and just plain awesomeness. I'd also like to thank O&A for leaving the air with dignity and integrity and not re-signing for the sake of re-signing but knowing what they want and not losing out. And them being off-air for a few months and signing elsewhere won't be a bad thing, especially for me. Cuz I will be gone towards the end of June til September and i don't know how much internet access i'll have in that time. | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I've been registered for a long time, been checking out this board regularly since (not much into posting, though), and have been a religious devotee of the O&A show for nearly all of their 3-year tenure in NYC. I used to work in radio in Detroit, and have heard a thousand shows from every idiot with access to a mic and a transmitter between here and LA, and I can honestly say that O&A have the most original, kick-ass content anywhere in the nation. It's totally worth however long a hiatus is needed to finally see these guys get their due in uncensored syndication. True radio talent is hard to come by these days, and we should feel fortunate that we've been able to dig with these guys for as long as we have. It's time for them to do some serious off-air battling to ensure that millions of others outside NYC can groove some of the same magic that we've been privy to for so long. O&A--Respect! | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Sep. 00 | I've been listening since the 2nd day they were on in NY. Like Crash I read more then I post. I met them in Carolines for a Steven Lynch show when they 1st came to NY. The place was only about half full so it was real easy to walk up and say hello. And they were cool. The nice thing is 3years later now that everyone knows who they are you can still walk up and say hi. They know how to get out and hang with the fans. And thats what seperates them from the rest.
