O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	In Today's NY Daily news radio column, David Hinckley mentions the boys in his usual style (clueless) Visit this Website Opie and Anthony Watch: WXRK (92.3 FM) afternoon deejay Will Pendarvis is leaving, and since the contract of sister station WNEW's hot afternoon team Opie and Anthony has just expired, reports immediately circulated that O&A will move to K-Rock. The logic here is that O&A could neatly bookend Howard Stern's morning show. Then, since WNEW (102.7 FM) would have no shows that get better ratings than static, it could switch formats to something that might. But while parent company Infinity isn't saying anything official, several insiders say this scenario is unlikely — because, for one thing, K-Rock wants a music franchise in its non-Stern hours. O&A will end up doing just fine, so expect them to keep riding the whole story.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	thought the title said enough; Since it was a published article, it is not quite the same as other speculation; also it really doesn't say much in terms of speculation, except to question previous rumor. a judgement call I guess :-) If Mods want to move it, so be it.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Well since I don't give 2 shits who David Hinkley is and I am quite sure he does not have a rapore with the board, :rage down: :rage down: I am just saying that we have this theme being covered in other threads. Generally we like to keep things in slightly more generic themes. This, for example, would fit under "What's happening with O&A" theme. David Hinckley's article, IMHO, is too specific. I know there is a s**tload of crap being posted. the purpose of my post is to notify people that there is an article; not to say I have an answer -hence the explicit "usual disclaimers apply) Maybe your fuse is short because of people posting their dreams; just do me a favor and hit them, not hangers-on's who are trying to reasonably post.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	Sloats, I understand your frustration. As I said before, if any mods choose to change / delete the post - fine. I respect their judgement. However, the NY Daily News is a large distribution newspaper, as opposed to something like the Radio Message Board. While Hinkley doesnt' get anything that's happened after 1978, there are millions of people who will read his drivel. John Mainelli's article warrented a separate thread; I see this in the same vein. When Froy et al tells me different, I'll be more than willing to comply.

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00	Everyone f'in relax....if a mod has a problem with a post, they'll rectify the situation. I hadn't seen the news article, so i was this topic was posted. It's general discussion people, what else is their to talk about right now? The shows from last week? Get over yourselves, if you don't like a topic just go on to a different one.
