what bit made you turn your radio off?

The cooking of the rats sent me over the edge... I stopped my car and threw up on the side on sunrise highway... I didn't listen for the rest of the show!

The wheel of crap.

There is a theory which states that if anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another which staes this has already happened. ---Douglas Adams

The girl talking about having the heel of her foot cut off by a lawn mower and exactly how it felt in ecruciating detail. I have far to good an imagination. Could almost feel the blood flowing.

That's nothing Arthur, I was in studio that day, and saw her foot live. I'm getting chills just thinking about it...

The only time I ever turned off the show was June 12th of last year. It was the day that Springsteen was opening his 10 night stand @ MSG. They were talking about Springsteen & how wrong he was by writing American Skin, etc. It's the only time ever could not listen to the show, and totally disagreed with everything they were doing & saying.

Well Froy, Anthony is no Springsteen fan so he just likes to bash him. I like him enough to not let him talk to badly at home. Couldn't stop him on air though. I didn't agree with him that day too much either. But the only day I came remotely to turning it off was Wheel of Crap when Mendi started puking. I gagged 3 times. A fourth time would've made me puke. Can't take wretching sounds.

Mine's a little different...none of the above affected me so much I'd turn them off. The bit that did, however, was the stupid bitch who wanted Rick Springfield tickets...how long did they actually have her on air, in the background, saying "hello, hello, hello..."? That was painful for me 'cause I thought she would have a heart attack. I turned off the computer and walked away.

I'll agree... the 'cringe' stuff makes me tune out rather than the puke contests, etc.
Like the way they used to jerk people who called in complaining about the lack of music when O&A first got to NEW. Some of that was just painful to listen to.

That was the only time I turned off the radio during an O and A show. I remember exactly what I was doing. I was playing stickball with my friends with a walkman on my head. When they went into that "bit" I turned off the radio, grabbed a bat and swung it against the wall. I was pissed that they were talking bad about a song that they obviously hadn't listened closely to. Every point they had was way off.

There hasn't been a bit that they did live to make me turn off the radio or change the dial.
However, When they are played over and over, that's when I turn it off. There are some bits that get old.

I didn't turn it off, but the 55-gal drum made me really cringe.

I had a friend in college who was studying to be an entymologist, and he used to bring those hissing roaches back to his dorm to freak some out - those are some nasty looking / sounding critters

Are you kidding? That bit kept me GLUED TO THE RADIO.

I can't remember even turning off a bit, unless it was a Worst-Of with a really overplayed bit that wasn't worth overplaying.

I agree with Skeet - whenever Dice is on the radio is off. Does anyone really like this guy, or is it just that much fun to tool on him?

The only time I've had to tune the guys out has been if I was at work at they would being making strong racial jokes or if a girl was faking an orgasm or something.
