Hate him, love him, indifferent he gets ratings and anyone going up against him in the talk format won't. And Ron and Fez is totally a nightime, 7-11 show. Get rid of Sportsguys, play music then or try new people, I don't know. Really all you need to keep are O&A and Ron and Fez but you can't keep switching R&F around. | Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Something really important has to happen before WNEW becomes number 1. The program directors of all the Infinity stations which are predominantly talk, or carry big ticket shows, Stern and OA, need to meet and agree on a sort of universal programming lineup. There is a simple reason for this, this way all the shows can be broadcast live. Its ridiculous that DM broadcast from Washington DC, but we hear them on tape delay. Its even more ridiculous that OA are being syndicated into late nights in some markets. The key to all this however, would be getting Stern to do mornings on WNEW, it would give the mid day shows a much needed push. It will prbably never happen. But it just makes sense to have all the shows broadcast live in all the markets. This way the listeners can call in, and actually be able to go to the websites and see whats happeneing at that time, i.e. Stinky Cam or pic uploads. I know that it would be impossible for California to get any of the shows live, but at least put them on that day at the same times on a tape delay. In example, OA 3-7 Calif time. In my opinion, one of the major probelms with Infinity is that they are very unorganized and the talent has a little bit too much of a say in things, OA included but especially Stern. If every station played the shows at the same times they could all be live, and if DM are strong somewhere OA are weak, it could be beneficial to OA, and vice versa. (I know nobody likes DM around here, but I've heard they are pretty strong in the midwest and other places where OA have yet to venture.) I'm not a program director, but it seems like a pretty good idea. Girls get moist for the Chevy Blazer. | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Feb. 01 | O & A: 3 - 7 PM (live) O & A: 7 PM - 3 PM (worst of) Actually Stern's talked about moving to other stations but broadcasting from that studio, and moving to a bigger studio yet stay on K-Rock, but WXRK won't allow it. I believe the SportsTards have gone from a 0.9 to an 0.6 and an 0.5 this book, iff that's the case (I'm not sure), they have to move. Bring NEW's 2nd best show, Ron and Fez, to mornings, afterall, mornings is "where it's at" in radio; move the SportsTards to 12-3 to attract from Mikey and Mad Dog, leave Chick and Don and Mike as they are. Personally, I would like to see the Sports Guys remain in mornings because it fills the sports-void WFAN has when they air Imus. Sports Guys also fill the gap between Stern's 13-minute commercial breaks  Self-Proclaimed Emperors of all Broadcasting. That old gag! Stay tuned for The O & A Radio Network - Fez | ||||
