But the defense for this is Asbury Parks PD was standing by watching and saw nothing violating the law where they felt it was necessary to step in and stop it. And the board should just deluge this council woman with email and phone calls, agreeing with her that Asbury Parks image of looking like Beruit is much better for the city then having it's residents enjoying themselves and having an event that brings revenue and visitors to that hellhole. And, Jeremy just proved that he doesn't have a clue about his own station if he thinks most of the listeners are women.... I grew up in the shadow of Asbury Park and the government never ceases to amaze me. Every single person in the government seems to have a personal agenda and this is another prime example. I read the whole long article in the front section on the riots and I had to laugh when I saw this article... I can't wait for the Warped Tour to see the backlash of all of this...between the laxness of the police during the road show and sunday's riot, i expect full-on gestapo... | Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | i was pissed when i read this article this morning and they made no mention whatsoever of the Greekfest debacle, but unfortunately the Pony will probably get heavily fined cuz NJ has a "topless only" law when alocohol is involved. thats why the best strip clubs (totally nude) are juice bars like Delilah's Den and Hot 22. it may suck but its better than fuckin Florida where in certain areas strippers have to be at least 10 feet away from you or some shit at all times at the clubs down there..... | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | I live a block away from Asbury I couldn't attend the road show but rode my bike up there before hand it was all good no problems, I got home right around when it was ending there was no gunfire or anything everyone left in a civil manner ( even though all the beer ran out ) last weekend (greek fest) was gunfight at the ok corral what balls these people have ,why dont they ask the residents what they would want naked girls or mayhem well thats my comment.
