| Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01  | If infinity is really trying to package Stern, D&M and O&A as a syndicated unit, what about the fact that Stern likes to do as long a show as he wants? Here in LA, they have a filler show that goes on whenever Stern finishes and runs until noon. Sometimes he's on for an hour and a half, sometimes he's on for 10 minutes. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | like others, I believe it is just hangover keeping O&A off today; Opie did say he was staying in city another night (after the party?), but Chick is definitely gone (as "reported by others, her site, http://www.theradiochick.com admits as much), and R&F said they didn't know or couldn't comment, but acted as if they were moving. This combined with D&M wanting to be live says the landscaped around the O&A island have changed. The question is: will they continue to run repeat chick, or will they move quickly? only 'NEW could re-run a fired jock's show. | ||||

Hopefully they won't move R&F I think they make a great lead in to O&A, but like the Chick getting fired, it's in the cards. She sucked (not because I'm an o&a fan Diamonddust, she sucked, period). Don and Mike are moving to middays. They will sell their souls I guess to be live in NYC. Fine. Don can now make a whole show out of talking to his wife on the phone. Nobody will care because nobody will be listening. O&A continue where they are. God forbid they take a day off people, Geezez. Ron and Fez 7 to 11. I think they were much funnier at nights anyways. I like this slot for them. They will do well there. The Sports Gays, who really gives an f about them. Horrid, but Infinity isn't going to challenge Stern. Those 2 faggots must feel great about themselves that the only reason they get to keep their jobs is they suck so bad that they pose no threat to Howards ratings. I liked the way it was..being at work hearing r and f wasnt bad..they def got more listeners to follow them wherever they went so thats a good thing. As far as the chic goes..I liked her for my work day listening..it was mindless chatter..always good for work. Kind of sucks to see the chick go, she was good to hear while at work, even though the show got too damn boring at times. I love listening to Ron and Fez during work, they really help the day move along cracking me up and all. At least they will still be around, though I won't always be able to hear their show now because of family stuff in the evenings. I'll always be a fan nonetheless. As far as Don and Mike go, I cannot believe they really think they'll win over NYC in middays. Everything I have ever heard them talk about is so irrelevant to the Tri-State area. So what if they were at WNEW on Thursdays and Fridays, that didn't change anything. Hearing Don fighting with his wife about a regifted book was plain stupidity Wednesday night. I usually turn them off, though I was working late and hard that night , I had no desire to screw with the radio reception for Rawk Blawks. If they survive and gain any ratings I would really be shocked. The Sports Guys - one work - SUCK! Million listeners my ass! How many of them were Ken and Jeremy multiplying the numbers of fans calling by 1000 each day? As for O&A, they probably stayed in bed all day with killer hangovers. Or they landed in jail for some stupid stunt that Mayor Rudy saw them do and was gravely offended by. Whatever. They'll be back and that's what matters. | ||||

Infact, while we're at it... make her slot from 7am-11am PUT Ron/Fez back where they were at 11-3pm and DITCH those sports jerks too. Boy. I go on ONE lousy week's vacation, and this is the shit I come back to?? Or better yet. MOVE The old King of All Shit from K-loser, to WNEW. Ditch the sports jerks. keep R&F weekdays from 10 to 3 Move Leslie to 7PM, and put Don & Mike out to pasture where they belong, with STERN! I love this move for both shows. If O&A are doing killer stuff they can keep it going for the NY market with a R&F crossover. The Radio Chick had her flaws, but was way more entertaining than those two windbags. I only hope this move finally ends all this Don & Mike crap. They have done more than enough to turn off NY radio listeners to them, and I beleive that in time the ratings will show that their show is a flop in this market no matter what time it is on or if it's on live or not.
