| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00  | Just in case anybody cares about that other coast ....... O & A doing BOTH mornings and afternoons in Seattle .... The virus spreads… Monday (8/6) morning Infinity’s KYCW-AM/Seattle dumped a Classic Country format in favor of an Extreme Talk format anchored by the company’s newest syndicated stars, New York-based Opie & Anthony. The duo is temporarily being heard in both morning and afternoon drive until October, when a new morning show will debut, according to Classic Rock sister KZOK PD Carey Curelop – who is also overseeing KYCW. It has been heavily speculated that Bob Rivers and his Twisted Radio crew would land on KZOK after their non-compete ends later this fall, but with the debut of a new Infinity Talk in Rivers’ home base of Seattle it’s possible he may soon call KYCW home in the near future. The stations lineup is rounded out by Sports-Talker Jim Rome (9a-noon), Ron & Fez (noon-3p), O&A in their permanent daypart (3p-7p), Phil Hendrie (7p-12a), and the Sporting News Network in overnights. | Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | THIS STATION ROCKS I have family in Seattle and visit all the time. They have O&A, Jim Rome, Ron & Fez, and Rick Ballou (From Sporting News.) I hope they can make something happen over there. | ||||
