| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00  | I was wondering since I will be leaving to california will anyone be encoding the show and uploading it to the FTP site? I think if we had 2 people encoding it would be great just in case one person has problems and the recording craps out. If anyone has any questions please feel free to email me at sblueman22@aol.com. If no one does encode, I probably will be able to encode off a SU feed, but the only problem with that is I will maybe have to deal with the show cutting out from time to time. | Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Yea, i have been doing it all along, that shouldn't be a problem. It would be nice to have a couple of people as backup incase my cpu craps out. The show should be up in the fserve in IRC ASAP since it's directly linked. The FTP uploads will be up later. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | Av8er, my last day running my feed and uploading the show will be December 13th. At 7PM my feed will shut off for good. Impact, I use Total Recorder and I think it's by far the best tool to use to encode the shows. All you would need after getting Total Recorder (it's $11 to register from highcriteria.com) is to download either the blade or lame.dll files. Then you'll be all set to go. I am never home when O&A are on but there is a scheduler that you can set up to record whenever you want. More feeds are more gooder! | Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 01 | impact, the dll's run the actual encoding engine for mp3's. by default, total recorder encodes to PCM format. | ||||

So far it sounds ok (some slight humming in the audio) and the feed plays music instead of commercials durning the breaks. I am uploading the encoded mp3 file as of 7:30 PM and it should be up by 8:15. More feeds are more gooder! Go to Live365.com and search for: Sblueman | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | I set up an automated prgram to encode the show, remane the file and place it on the server every night at 8:00PM. I wil start this tonight. It would be nice if more people did it too so there is a backup if my servers shut down. I will give this a try for a while and see how it goes. | ||||
