In case you are not familiar with FTP, here is what you need to know, your screwed because everyone should know if they use the internet. With that aside here is the FTP address to use with your favorite program to access it.

ftp://rotty:radio@ftpona.homeip.net:21/

Currently the only thing there is the final XFL pregame show and a program to decompress it similiar to winzip. Use this link for info Winrar Info Page from Download.com.

I placed the show on there in 6x5mb sections I have capped the download speed to 18kps and there is a 5 user limit. If you are trying to hammer the site to get in (Hammer=multiple attempts in a short perion of time) you will be banned for a period of time so don't do it. More will be added if there is any interest. The less people who know about this means the less who will login preventing you from doing so.

Finally if you have any problems don't report them to me because I don't give a shit, just post your complaints in a reply and maybe someone will help you. IMing me for help will get you blocked, unless there is a true problem.

Enjoy and don't forget to click on the links for opieanthony.com becuase the need it still there. Maybe one day I'll get a t-1 line and know the pains of running a real website.

I added some shows and I removed the bandwidth limit, the server may not distribute the bandwidth properly so you may get 100kps while someone else gets only 1kps. I have upgraded to IIS 5.0 so there may or not be a difference. Let me know by IM or email.

System upgrades this weekend March 3-4 will cause the FTP to be down. The FTP will be available sometime Sunday night or Monday morning.

I have yet to receive any input on connection speeds. If anyone can tell me their kb/s rate I would appreciate it.

I made a small upload to the FTP over the weekend , the best clip i put up was Howie talking about Anthony's wife and a few other small O & A clips . Tonight, or Wensday i hope to make a large update of some Classic O & A airchecks. Im on a dial up so uploading or downloading just sucks . Thats why i'll be makeing the upload over night when im in bed .

Oops sorry -- just saw that other thread. I was back home in NY last week so I got all goofy being able to hear my boys on the radio again!

But I'm slamming back to reality, don't worry about me....

Okay, here's my problem. Hopefully someone can help. When I go to the site, instead of getting the page with all the blue icons of the show, and folder icons, I get the page as a directory listing. When I try and click on the list, I always get the error page. For every icon, too. Is there a specific reason for this? Is it the fact that I have a 56K connection instead of a cable one? Let me know if there's anything I can do. Thank you for any help with this.

Well, I'm using IE 5, but I'm always learning new things about the internet everyday. I didn't know that I had to download a program that allows me to view a FTP site- I downloaded CuteFTP yesterday, and in a roundabout way I can download them at about 5.2kps. Sometimes even 20(w/some Stephen Lynch Songs)! I will try to upload some stuff but that's a whole other story.

Hey Rotty,

Thanks for the work that you do it is really appreciated, I noticed you haven't updated the shows since last monday. Wondering if you were going to update the shows anymore? I hope I don't sound demanding or anything, I was just wondering since I hadn't read anything about you stopping. I hope everything is ok with you.

Thanks again for everything

Rotty,

Great job on the FTP site. I have a kickass DSL connection at home, and average 108-110K/sec. Thanks.

No offense, Syracuse Sucks, but f-you and your internet connection. It takes me at least an hour and a half to download one song. Thank god this isn't Napster where if you get disconnected you lose the whole transfer. WinMX is so much better for easily disconnectable internet users such as myself.

As a footnote- I'm not complaining against Rotty's site itself- it's just jealousy towards Orangemen boy.
