| Hanger-On Registered: Mar. 02  | I can't belive that every1 is bashing Stern...so he's a pussy for bitching about being mentioned...although I have my doubts about that...but even O&A will admit that they don't care about Stern...FOR FUCK's SAKE THEY'RE NOT EVEN ON AT THE SAME TIME...I happen to listen to both shows...I couldn't care less about what either one says...the bottom is that regular "MUSIC" programming SUCKS SHIT...same thing over and over again...talk shows like O&A and Stern are a lot more interesting...THAT's why I LISTEN...not because someone told me to... Howard may be whinie bitch (IF HE DID WHAT EVERYONE SAYS HE DID) but he is the man who paved the road for guys like O&A...I've listened to Stern for Years and he is THE KING OF ALL MEDIA...but I also enjoy O&A...and if you don't like that well FUCK YOU I coulnt care less O&A Kick Ass | ||||

They want to be able to say whats on their mind and talk about what they want to. So why can't they? Why can't O&A talk about Stern or D&M when Stern & D&M can mention O&A??/ Thats the issue here. O&A don't give a fuck what Stern, D&M or any other show says about them, however they want to be able to speak about them also. Its a matter of principle, and its also a breach in their contract. For O&A its like ok this is in our contract, but we can't do it, whats next?? SWhats the next thing we won't be able to say or do even though its stipulated in our contracts that we can do it?? Where will it end? | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Mar. 02 | I've been a huge Stern fan since 1986. I agree, that his show is not nearly as funny now as it was in the past. I can't pinpoint exacly when it started to suck, but in recent months, it has become very hard to listen to at times. I think Artie Lang has something to do with it. He is the most annoying, un-funny personality any radio show could have. I still listen to it however, because all of the other morning shows in Philly are embarrassingly awful, and I hate Creed & Godsmack, so I can't listen to the music stations either. The O&A show is the funniest god-damn show I've heard since the early days of Stern. I think Stern knows this and can't come to grips with this fact, and he has always thought everyone is out to get him (especially management). However, whoever hired Don and Mike should be fired. I have listened to their entire show for three days, and have not even cracked a smile. It's just plain awful. I really gave it a chance, but its just not gonna happen. Now between 11& 3 I'll just have to tune to another station or bring some CDs to work. | ||||

And you may say that E! is not a big channel, but he goes up against Leno and Letterman at 11:30, and does just fine against them.. And the 11:30 show is mostly repeats.. Also, you say his movie bombed.. He made 75 million at the box office, and that is not taking into consideration the sales of the movie after it came out on tape.. And when do you ever hear Howard talk about O and A or Don and Mike on his show.. I remember when O and A bashed Howard when they finally got their syndication, and I waited the next week for Howard to retaliate, and there was nothing.. He doesn't talk about these guys and there is no need to talk about him.. Do you think you will get higher ratings by bashing him?? He does his show and that's the way it should be.. Enjoy both shows because they will never go head to head.. And you know deep inside that if they did, O and A would not be around much longer.. Just look at them Sports Guys.. | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Mar. 02 | Holly SHIT...I couldn't agee more with 'Stone Cold' Most of you dumbasses come out bash Stern and say how great O&A are...why can't you just enjoy both shows...or you can listen to Casey Casom (NO CLUE HOW TO SPELL) or somethin...and if you don't like Howard check your radio for an off button mine has that great function...And as far as 'SpawnofStern' is concerned, you have to find a new source for your info bud...The fact is whatever Stern touches turns into a hit...Private Parts...the E Shows...Son of the Beach...and the guy still does a daily show every fucking day. Hey I'm not kissing Howard's ass, but I know that whatever the man is involved in is sure to be entertaining. I also know not ever1 will agree with that. Stone Cold said it best...you know that if O&A and Stern went head to head, they'd be history. Howard might not have invented Shock radio but he sure as hell made it what it is today, and that's why you have guys like O&A who sure as hell are fun to listen to...and that's great cause Howard won't be around for much longer...
