| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | They don't kiss celebrities asses especially fake celebrities like Howard does. 2 examples of this are what O&A did to Jerri from the 2nd Survivor and Darva Conger from WHo wants to marry a millionaire. O&A are unable to get music guests because of Krock. And unless the celebrity is doing a tour of all the stations, they are not going to get high profile guests because if they would go on any show they would go on Howard's. They also do these contests every goddamn week which turns off listeners. We all miss the most offensive song contest and the real greatest radio promotion of all time and that was what my screen name is after, "Teenweek". Hot teens coming into the studio and having sex on the lesbian couch. I love them, I listen to them all the time but a lot of times I turn them off for a little bit, like this week when they did 40 minutes on their gay boss from Boston. For the most part O&A are not sell outs to hollywood like Howard is. They stil play the act as everyday guys and it works. You dont see them going to Nobu or sittin gin celebrity row at knicks games. As long as Howard is around and really controls Infinity radio, they will never be as big as Howard is.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 01 | I hate replying to the haters, but I can't help this one. Opie and Anthony DON'T need good interviews to make their show entertaining and funny. Unlike Stern, they can be funny (and not whiny, self-pitying, hypochondriacatic, my life's so awful even though I'm a millionaire) on their own. The best stuff comes when O&A have nothing planned. When Howard has nothing planned, its like sitting in a psychiatrist's office. I like Opie and Anthony's interviews better, b/c they don't try to get all the dirt on various people, instead they just sit back and have a good time with the celebrity. *****************************  Yes, the WOW was ms-painted on | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Nov. 00 | I am a big O&A fan. I definately feel that they have lost a little bit of the edge due to syndication. I feel that after a little while they will be able to feel out syndication and get there show up and running again. I was an everyday listener when they were in NY. Now it is not a big deal to me if I miss alot of the show. I have confidence they will work out some of the kinks and rise up to the syndication deal. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I do agree that they've lost a bit of their edge, and I attribute that mainly to the change in their style really. There used to be a HELL of a lot more listener interaction. A lot more Instant Feedback being read, and a lot more calls being taken. Anyone listen to Ron and Fez? O&A used to be like that. Another thing... it used to be that the show would regularly spin off into tangents (many times pushed there by listener interaction: see above). These tangents have led to some of the GREATEST radio they've ever done. Including the best contest (IMO) they've ever done, that they're now not allowed to do, the Most Offensive Song contest. That was a spin off a tangent.... not planned at all.  | ||||

Like 20 They're syndicated to 18 cities, how much bigger can you get? Mr. "I've been a comic for over 13 years". How come I've never heard of him until now? Then there is Anthony and his lame friggin Dice impression; "Bud a bing, bud a boom" Crap. I have 3 idols - Mick Foley, Ron Jeremy, and Jim Norton. Foley - nothing needs to be said. Ron Jeremy - an ugly, overweight slob of a man who has fucked some of the most beautiful women walking this planet today. Norton - he is brutally truthful. Listen to him when he goes off on tirades.
