| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | I have been reading Allen Sniffen's board and listening to the Don and Mike show and I have realized that they have played best of two days in a row (yesterday and today). According to The NYRMB, Don and Mike are angry because they have been replaced by none other than O&A as the east coast afternoon drive show for the infinity stations. Don't forget weekends. I love REcycle Bin and Worst Of but think about how many young up and comers could get a shot and give original crap to us on the weekends. I say bring down Scorch and "Totally Nude Radio" for 7-11.....not a lineup specualation. Just hoping they get rid of D&M from the NY airwaves WNEW dosn't put original broadcasting on the weekends because that would cost money, and WNEW dosn't like to spend money Ron & Fez can stay at noon, i don't really care for them, but they are rather popular.  | ||||

They have had this hostility towards O&A since day one.They just dont get it that O&A bring in huge ratings for WNEW and especially in the most wanted demographics: men 18-49 (something like that, after all I am not Allen Sniffen) And therefore the company is going to do it's best to promote that. Don and Mike just can't get it that they are not as successful as O&A. Fuck 'em. Sweet Merciful Crap! | ||||

They have signed a new 2 year contract renewal and it appears that the contract they signed is similar to O&A's (they can mention howard stern). I don't think Don and Mike are meant to grab the same demographic as O&A anyway. The only advantage I see to moving Ron and Fez to the Don and Mike slot is that the Chick could go on from 10-2 again. D&M don't hit the mark when it comes to humor, but I give them credit for having a more organized show (which isn't necessarily a plus) D&M are not only here to stay, but they also may be on live.
