You know, I feel that you genuinely like the show. So read this:

Hello new member. I am a Moderator on opieanthony.com. I am here to guide, cajole, problem solve, help, joke and discipline. But, most of all, I’m here to make this Message Board run smoothly.

In an effort to help you, I strongly recommend that you take a few moments to review the rules of this Message Board. Check these links:

Why do you need these resources? Because, this can be an enjoyable place to be, as long as you know how to play well with other members. These resources will enable you to “meet” other members and profit from their experiences.

Having offered this advice, I would like to welcome you to OA.com. We are all fans of the Opie & Anthony Show and look forward to your input.

Please try and begin your time on this Message Board by reading and REPLYING to topics started by other members. Chances are that whatever you have to say has been said in an earlier topic started by another member. To avoid confusion for us all, use the Search function to see if the answers you seek, or the topic you’d like to discuss, are already in an active post. PLEASE refrain from starting a new topic when you can reply and liven up an existing topic. Replying makes things more interesting, more complete and much more fun. Sifting through 15 topics discussing the same subject matter is tedious and slows down the Board. Keep things lively and interesting, join in a discussion instead of starting a new one.

In no time you’ll get the hang of the Board and win the hearts and minds of other members. You may even make some good friends.

All in all, learn from veteran members, don’t be afraid to ask for help from a Moderator, read the FAQs, and most importantly: “THINK BEFORE YOU WRITE”!!!

Howard is
A. Jealous that he has to share an audience w/O&A
B. Hypocritcal because he accuses O&A of many things he did AND treating the boys the way I-Mus treated him.

Then again, this has all been said before. Alot of this talk can be found in ENEMIES OF THE SHOW or the FU BOARD.

A lot of us feel the way you do Hammer.

M-O-O-N that spells O&A Rule.

You really must try to construct your sentences in more cohesive ways as to make them more readable for the other members. Welcome, by the way.

HAMMER,
For ruture reference.. when referring to Howard, Mancow, or any other personalities who like to butt heads with the boys.. the appropriate forum to post in is the "Enemies of the Show" forum, with the sole exception being if it's something O&A mentioned on the show recently (recently being within I'ld say the past 2 days tops)
I'm going to move this to the Enemies forum shortly, as that's where it belongs.

its threads like these that make me miss the old days.back then, every regualr reply would be "DILLON" or something, and the two mods would have joined in or given him a strike for stupidity.wasn't it fun being a newbie when it was open season and there was no adoption?

Fuck Howard. He can whine bitch and moan all he wants, but you know something?
He just fucked himself royally by the gag order.
Now, the gag is gone. All he has to do is slip up once, and O&A are on him like Two pitbulls on a burglar. Stern should have kept his mouth shut. If he did, O&A wouldn't have gone on a warpath and really hit too close to home.

As for posting, remember to post in the enemies of the show section when posting about the foes.

Press Release
Web Users Speak Out: Howard Stern is the Most Popular Radio Host
The Lycos 50(Tm) presents the Top 20 Talk Personalities Based On Internet Searches
WALTHAM, Mass.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--June 13, 2001-- Jim Rome is the Most Popular Sports Talk Guy

According to Web Users

Terra Lycos (NASDAQ: TRLY and Madrid Exchange: TRR), the largest global Internet network, today announced the following information from The Lycos 50(TM), the weekly, authoritative list of the 50 most popular people, places and things Web users are searching for online. For a complete list of The Lycos 50(TM) and for in-depth text of The Lycos 50 Daily Report, go to http://50.lycos.com.

The Lycos 50(TM)Top 20 Most Popular Radio Hosts:

1) Howard Stern 11) Mancow
2) Rush Limbaugh 12) G. Gordon Liddy
3) Art Bell 13) Larry King
4) Dr. Laura Schlessinger 14) Phil Hendrie
5) Paul Harvey 15) Tom Leykis
6) Don and Mike 16) Joan Rivers
7) Opie and Anthony 17) Oliver North
8) Don Imus 18) Dr. Demento
9) Jim Rome 19) Michael Medved
10) Tom Joyner 20) John Boy and Billy

Howard Stern is the most popular radio host on the Internet and has held this reign since The Lycos 50 began in 1999. The only time Stern was ever challenged online occurred immediately before and after the 2000 presidential election when Stern was toppled briefly by Rush Limbaugh. How popular is Howard Stern with Web users? Over the past two months, Rush Limbaugh has received only 30 percent as many searches as Stern, while Art Bell has received only 24 percent as many searches. In his defense, at his peak during election week, Limbaugh received the highest ranking ever by a radio host on The Lycos 50.

``Interestingly, while Don Imus is beloved by the media and the Beltway crowd, he is less popular on the Internet with Web users than the shock jock team of Opie and Anthony and the classic American voice of Paul Harvey,'' said Aaron Schatz, writer of The Lycos 50. ``One other radio host who appears on the decline with Web users is Liz Wilde. On the flip side, sports guy Jim Rome's popularity online is on the increase. Rome is by far the most popular sports talk show host on the Internet
