O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	first of all, I'd like to say Hi, my name's vegeta and I'm a radiophille. I basically say that I hate some radio shows, but I still listen to them no matter what. Anyways, I was listening to stern while the sports guys (who have gotten funnier, I have to admit) were in commercials, and I get to hear another one of his "I created radio, I should be given credit for what I AND I ALONE have done for the industry, I am the only hot shock jock on the planet, etc." whiny rants. That's one of my major problems with stern now. If you hear his old shows from 10 or twelve years ago, he was this angry, funny, young and fearless talker who actually gave a damn about his show. But now, he's mega-rich, he gets his ass kisssed by his bosses and he takes two week breaks from his job! The fucker was talking about his HOUSE IN THE HAMPTONS! I don't have any problem with people who have the money to live the good life, but didn't howard use to say that rich people who lived the high life disgusted him. Ok, Ok, let me get to the point; howard is becoming the exact same person he used to fight against. He thinks that he not only created shock radio, but he also thinks that he should be the only guy on the air talking about what people like to hear. Are Opie and anthony on that road? I know that the average fan will say "oh no! O&A are down to earth, blah, blah, blah." but I am in fear that O&As lives will be changed dramatically (i.e. Opie will get married, O&A will get wealthier and mega popular) and they will change into something horrible. I do have a lot of faith that O&A will stay humble, but power does go to your head. "Go fist yourself, useless bitch!" Screen name yotaruvegeta

Hanger-On Registered: Sep. 00	I think Anthonys feet will stay firmly planted on the ground and he will keep it real, on the other hand I can picture Opie running from his limo into Nobu screaming "NO PICTURES, NO PICTURES" in a few years. I also believe this will be the eventual downfall of the O&A show. Remember that Opie started out wanting to be a radio star and Anthony kinda just happened.

Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01	I say, don't sweat it. Enjoy what is good now. If, in 20 years, O&A become corporate whores, there will be something to take their place. I don't see that happening, but 20 years ago, I didn't see Howard becoming a corporate whore... But right now, Opie and Anthony are the best there is out there, and I don't see that changing. O&A, if anything, will learn from Howard's mistakes. Remember the cliche, those who don't learn from history, are doomed to repeat it.
