| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | i have to agree with this FU. they always go for the best sound clip or saddest story. I just heard one guy say something along the lines of: 'Joe and Jane are newly weds and love each other very much. Jane herself is 7 months pregnant. They both work on the 92nd floor of Tower 1. Like every day they got up, said how much they love each other, had breakfast and went to work together. They arrived about 8 am. ... their family hasn't heard from them since. '

| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | no offense to your greif, but this is their JOB... they let everyone know what was happening when it was happening.. they also risked their lives & im sure they are affected by this too. I don't feel they interfered with the safety of anyone. i respect your FU but i think they are just doing what they can.. letting the public know how truly horrific this situation has been.. and i dont think their emotions are fake, i watched penny crone break down 3 times last night during her live spots. go on with your FU tho... it is yours & im sorry for whatever loss you may have experienced | ||||

This is not to ALL the TV reporters. the genuine ones who put their lives on the lines!!! I keep thinking about christianne annampour- or however her name is spelled- she is the quintessential GOOD journalist. matter of fact she is one of the BEST journalist's alive!, imo. we're not talking about people like her. we're talking about those fake, newsjock-trick employing, too perky, smiling when there's nothing to smile about assholes who use this HORROR like it's their stepping stone to a pulitzer! | O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | Saw Penny Crone interviewing firefighters and thought she was going to start crying. Don't think she was faking it. But, I was watching Ch.7 and they were interviewing the CEO of a company that lost 700 people. It was a heartbreaking interview. But, I saw it twice and they made it look like two different people, Connie Chung and some other guy, did the interview!! The guy was HORRIBLE! He gave those really insincere head nods and shocked looks. Connie Chung was only slighlty less sincere. We don't need to see the interviewers face. Just let the guy talk. We don't even need to hear the questions!! | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Im sorry but i think the reporters have been fantasic, this one reporter on CNN was just in tears after talking to family members looking for relatives that were in the WTC. Some people handle tragedy differently then others.  I can't believe the news today Oh, I can't close my eyes And make it go away | ||||
