| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | The guy that I recently started seeing is an ex from high school who I started dating when I was 15, and then dated again for a bit when I was 16 and 17. He was the first guy that I ever kissed, but I had gotten over him a long time ago. Almost two weeks ago, I ran into him on the roof parking lot of the supermarket when I was with my mother, and we began talking and seeing eachother again. He was recently discharged from the Navy, but is still doing active reserve. We were hanging out tonight and I decided to ask him if he thought that he would be shipped off to fight the war, and he said that there is a very good chance that he will be going, and will be gone for a long time. To his credit, he wants to go and is very upset that he will not really be involved in direct combat. He's anxiously awaiting the call to defend our country, and I am anxiously anticipating worrying about him for years to come... I am not at all upset that he is wanting and waiting for his chance to defend our country, I'm just upset that there is the fear of him never returning.... Oh and by the way: FU to the tattoo on his leg of his ex-fiance that he has to get removed...
