| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | -------------------------------- This site (like so many other amateur sites) looks like it was done by a Photoshop expert with no knowledge of usability. Read some Jakob Neilson books, will you? The list of usability principles the site violates is a mile long... which is why people complain they can't find things. -------------------------------- I get 5-10 of these on a daily basis. You know what, fuck it. Do a better job, please. Go ahead. I will gladly relenquish the responsibility to a competent designer. At least I'm doing the work, which is more than I can say for the people who lack the conviction and rather complain. I've fucking had it already. Much like the O&A show, if you don't like the site, don't use the site. I am sick and tired of listening to every two bit hack fuck who thinks he knows how to do a better job. Although, just to play devil's advocate, sometimes pointing and clicking is somewhat tiresome...wait, was that click and point? On the homepage there's two TWO! different ways to access ANYTHING you need. How The fuck do these people not find what they're looking for? Besides, none of these pussies that complain about FM are willing to say it to Jeff or Steve's face. I felt bad for Steve C. today when he was losing his sh*t in studio due to all the crap he had been recieving. If it weren't for us, you'd be getting your kicks from the WNEW.COM site, and we KNOW how much of the racy content they put on that site. Bottom line is, you show me someone who will pay the hundreds of dollars to store over 5,000 media files and photos and produce dynamic applications for free on the fly and I will kiss his ass. We don't ask for SHIT from you (directed toward all complaining fucks)...not one fucking dime...we make enough money to keep ourselves above water through advertisements and merchandise. Trust me when I say I haven't seen a fucking dime for over eight months of billable work and I NEVER ASKED FOR ONE, AND NEVER WILL. This is my baby...I put a lot of time and effort into it for my own personal satisfaction...NOT YOURS. I like to take pride in good work, and this is good work. It may not accomodate or conform to the "principles of usability", but it does the job thanklessly. I have dedicated myself to a work in progress, and if you've ever understood what it is to work hard at something you take pride in then you will understand how fucking pissed you get when someone takes a shit on your head. I defy the douchebag who wrote this e-mail to voice your insults/complaints to my face or Steve's. Enough is enough. Know when you have a good thing going. Yes there are people who may be able to do a better job, BUT WHO HAS TO THIS POINT??? He was not complaining about doing it for free, he was simply venting about the idiots who cant find their way around the site.
