| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Douche bag.... if you had the best closer in baseball (perhaps the best EVER), you'd put him in too. Granted it's not a closing position when it's tied... but the point of a closer is to hold the other team from scoring.... same concept, different score. He's having a bad run since last October (or NOVEMBER RATHER!!!) Give the guy a break. How many post season saves has he given us over the years.... so he throws a bad pitch in the world series... so he gives up a few runs mid-season. Mo is there when it counts... and honestly, he's allowed to fuck up once in a while, in my book. Torre and Zim know what they're doing. If it continues and Mo pulls a Knobbie and gets all mental... they'll deal with it. It's mid-season, and the Red Sox don't know the October dance. Relax.
