My bird just recently passed away, and $5000 in medical bills later, we still don't know what it is that killed him. Although we never spoke before, if you need someone to talk to, feel free....I know how hard it is. I hope things get better for you soon.  | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | Froy -- from 1 dog lover to another, I feel for ya man, sometimes I feel my dog is batter than my wife, -- If that ever happens to him(it happened to a dog of mine years ago) I think I would lose it worse than if some people I know died. After seven fun years with a stray cat who called my tiny apartment home, I finally had to face the music and carry LingLing into the Vet and hold her while the procedure took place. Yep, cancer too. This was a cat I initially ignored that stole her way into my life... and I miss her still. Time heals but it's still a bitch to go through..... peace. Humm's working on my sig pic..... I played with my childhood dog a little (she was 15 years old) & said hi to my parents who woke up &went to bed. The next morning I woke up & went downstairs where my mother was crying hysterically. I asked what was wrong & they she said my dad to my dog to be put to sleep. I completely flipped out because they "accidentally" failed to mention that to me the night before. All I can say is I'm glad I stopped to pet her for a couple of minutes that night. I feel for ya bro....  Don't hate me because I'm beautiful... | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | Froy, I know what it's like to lose a pet as well. My dog was 12 yrs old when she died. Till this day we still don't know what she died from (although we think it was Ovarian Cancer). Unfortunately I was in Africa, during a 6 month cruise when I had recieved a letter from my Ex telling me what happened. I grew up w/ that dog, she was a part of our family, I just wish I could have seen her one last time before she passed on. She was real close to all of us, especially my mother. She even waited for my mother to come home before she finally died. Even though I have my cat now, whom I love very much... Ther is not a day that goes by that I don't think about that dog. Froy, I hope you feel better I know it is a very hard thing to go through, it just takes time. Good luck man. "Kyle, I'm just a stupid piece of crap..." I remember when my dog passed on, and it's been 12 years now. I still can't bring myself to get another pet(I know, I have to deal with these loss issues). Hang in there, bro. | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | cancer sucks. i had a tumor that was cancerous ... if i didn't have surgery... i'd never walk again. my bro had cancer, my grandmother had cancer, and right now my mom has cancer. fun shit, isn't it.. i know i've already extended my condolences, and just know that if you need someone to bitch at, please do come to me... i like to feel needed. *hugs*
