| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | :( I'm sorry about your sister's cat....I know much it hurts when a pet dies.... ::This might make you feel a little better - my bird used to have seizures when he was nervous, and the vet visits would cause them - this could be what happened to the kitten and it really might not be the vet's fault. | Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 00 | Hey Jen, sorry to hear about the kitten. Believe me, I know what it feels like. My 7 year old German Shepherd suddenly died 3 weeks after moving to VA. He was my best friend, and at that point my only friend here. I took him to the vet for treatment of Lymes Disease and Ehrlichia (another tick-borne disease). They told me he would be just fine. 3 days later they called me and told me he was dead. It tore my heart out. I cried for 2 weeks. Best wishes to you and your sister. Damn the torpedo's, bite the bullet, go for the gusto, that's what I always say!!! Oh wait...that was someone else. Never mind. | ||||
