| Psychopath Registered: Jul. 01  | I was just reading Syn's post about some tabacco industry study about the "positive" effects of smoking, and I got to thinking... I'm a smoker. Have been since I was 17, and at this point in my life, I have no intention of quitting. I KNOW IT'S BAD FOR MY HEALTH! I DON'T NEED TO BE INUNDATED WITH PREACHY ADS FILLED WITH TOO COOL FOR THE ROOM KIDS TELLING ME THAT THE TOBACCO INDUSTRY LIES I know the ads serve a purpose. Kids shouldn't be smoking, and I guess that's who they're targeting. But I'm still gonna get pissed every time I see one of those god damned commercials. ::lights up and inhales::  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I dont know maybe it's me but those commercials just make me want to go and light up another one.If they want kids not to smoke they should have a commercial with a dieing cancer patient in it.Then show that persons last breathe of air.Now that's the REAL TRUTH. I hate the truth.com more than cigarette companies and I heard people (diehard nonsmokers)saying those commercials are so annoying and bad that it amakes them want to smoke. The participants are annoying, their plans are retarded (oooo a memorial to those who died from smoking putting out tax dollars to work eh? ), and the worst commercial and I hope someone remembers this one was where they told you to rip apart your own magazines as a showing to the magazines that you won't stand for magazines with ads with cigarette commercials in it BUT IF YOU HAVE THE MAGAZINE YOU ALREADY PAID INTO THE COMPANY MORONS!!! People choose to smoke they aren't forced like people in Vietnam or the Holocaust, that's the truth. Assholes.
