| O&A Board Regular Registered: May. 00  | Well you all know that shit happens. It happened yesterday. I was going to work and when I parked in the Garage it turned out that I couldn't go into reverse. I ended up having four people push it from the space to get out of there. The next day I take it into the shop and lo and behold my transmission is so fucked up it needs to be rebulit. I'm now looking at a bill around $1200-1800!!! Now you are saying, why pay so much money to a fix a used Toyota? Well I really need this car when I go back to college in a few weeks so I have no choice. It's a good thing my mom is lending me the money to fix it. But I'm forced to being a slave at my job in order to pay it off. It's a good thing that my Job freely gives out crazy overtime. If you have a pulse you can get some. So this means for now(at least 2-3 weeks), no softball games, no board parties, and no brother joe gigs. :( I will have to work 80-90 hour weeks to get this straigtened out. Just when things start to become great (after the craziness at bar9) shit like this goes down. The morals of this story... (If your ass read it. :)) SAVE YOUR FUCKING MONEY A young guy like me just "has" to spend it on a digital camera CHECK YOUR TRANMISSION OFTEN I found out the hard way. If it sounds funny at all, take it in ASAP! During this period, I won't really have time for ths wonderful board. Well at least I get to listen to O&A at work! I'll try to peak in if at all possible.
