Follow this logic: 1 New member posts an FU, 2 Older Member comes and makes a joking/sarcastic comment about new member's FU, 3 Moderator (that's me) tells older member that we're suppossed to be nice to new members and asks him to relax, 4 Older member apologizes and relaxes. Now add step 5 to the mix.. 5 Another older member, who's obviously gotten in a little trouble before, comes in and makes an outright ATTACK post aimed at new member's FU AFTER a moderator said be nice Now, methinks.. the question is what should step 6 be?
