If I'm not mistaken, babies under a certain age aren't even really supposed to be out in the sun/heat because their little organs can't handle it. I know you're not even supposed to put sunscreen on a baby less than 6 months old (not sure why though). But...people are stupid and will do what they want. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | this is just fucked up.... pople have no sence in what iss right or wrong not even when a life is @ hand.... in the paper a few weeks ago i saw somthing bout a guy & his friend in AZ. went to a baseball game & brought the kid.... the thing is they left the kid in the car the whole game while they were inside haveing a good time...when they gt back to the fathers house they walked inthe house & still forgot the kid... the wife asked them where "joey" is & they said oh shit he is still in the car... the baby WAS only a year & a half or so... the baby was asleep in the car 7 they left him there in the haet of arizona... & they killed the little boy..... now tell me that people have common sence???? there are alot of these fuckers out there its just scary.... Babies make great projectiles-trust me, I've seen the results, not pretty. Kids bounce around alot too, so if you let your 8 year old jump around on the back seat and come to a short stop, guess who just might fly by your head and out the windshield if you get rear-ended? | Hanger-On Registered: May. 01 | here's a good one: i work at a beach front park-- a place where i have encountered every form of ignorance and stupidity in existence. one particularly classy gentleman left his 2 1/2 year old toddler in his car not only with the windows up in 95 degree heat (you LIers know the heat wave i'm talkin about), but left the car running. well, the baby, in an agitated state kicked the gear shift putting the car in drive. the vehicle jumped the curve onto the patio and pinned the child's father up against our building. the baby was uninjured with the father only sustaining some cuts and bruising. i hope this guy got a fuckin wake up call!!!!!! | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | My one neighbor used to leave her baby home to go food shopping. Her theory was "she's asleep anyway." Another neighbor used to pile himself, his wife and their 3 & 5 year old kids into his pickup truck and let the kids stand on the seat while he drove off. I always wanted to call the police or DYFS on them, but I guess I was too gutless. Thanks to Brokenjaw for my pic (again)! | ||||
