| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | This is my reply to Opak's email. Ok I get you know. The search display was ordering results by Forum Name, then the message date. So.... 1) if you posted a reply to something on Dec 7th 2000 in General Discussion in a particular forum 2) then post a new a completely new thread on Dec 8th. The Dec8th thread will appear first. 3)then posted again in the first thread on Dec 9th. That thread will then appear first. 4) Delete that Dec 9th post. Now it will drop back to the dec 7th post, which will appear second under the dec 8th post. And so on. I changed it display the thread by date only, not by forum. This will solve some confusion, although there's nothing i can do about the thread dropping down to older dates if you delete newer posts. That's just how the database works and spits out information, in date order. If there are no new dates, it has to go by the last thread date. I develop hard to navigate websites.
