I think it all started with the Declaration of Independence -- the idea that we had the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That pursuit is what took America from the revolution to the computer age in 200 years. But the progress has come at a price. The obvious being the people that were exploited to make it possible; the not so obvious being us, the first group of people that were given no obvious frontiers to conquer. We hear stories that about the good old days that don't seem to apply anymore. It's a generation gap that leaves us without role models. But the bright side is that without role models, there are no roles. Maybe that's what the 60s were all about -- getting rid of the roles. But what do we replace them with? Without any guidance, what do we replace them with? Without any guidance, the choices become overwhelming. Sometimes it just makes everything feel hopeless. So we destroy our bodies in the search of an ideal. Try to salvage relationships that don't work. We feel we must do something, instead of doing something that we feel. It is the prison of self-imposed momentum, and the sad part is that we get used to it. It reminds me of a song I heard the other day. It's called "The Going Nowhere Fast." But the people I have met here have shown me another side of Nowhere. They've pointed out the beautiful irony that stagnation makes it easy to stop and smell the roses, if we just let it. What would we be if we had nothing to rebel against? Well we could finally be ourselves, the first group of people who stopped looking for the answers long enough to appreciate the questions. And all we have to do is to make our own Declaration of Independence. We can embrace the right to life and liberty by simply realizing that happiness exists -- not to pursue, but to accept. After that the only challenge would be to make sure with the rest of our lives that we weren't just another fad. I don't know, it's an idea. What do you think?

Ok let me make this plain and clear, Sean is without a doubt my best friend and I love the guy. I don't follow blindly though beyond popular belief. Matt is as close to me as sean is but unfortuantly our lines of communication are not as frequent. My loyalty is to both of them but only if they are in the right.

My name is gonzostyle and yes I am a member of Colddayinhell.net, lol. I am a member there not because sean is my friend but because truthfully OA.com is not what it used to be and for now CDIH.net is. But I would never join if it was an anti-oa.com site. I spoke to sean about that and he agreed wholeheartidly because as I he considers Matt a friend. We have looked for places before to just get away from the tension wether it was wackbag at first or private clubs or just in IMs.

I am not doing this post to get in with anyone or prove anything. I am doing this for a friend in his defense. Sean has never and never intended to "bring down" OA.com and I am a member and will continue to be a member. He does have members of this board on his site that is not a fact he has hidden and as a matter of fact all that he has done, was done with Matts full knowlege. Not because he needed approval mind you but because he wanted to be honest and one thing sean can always pride himself on is his honesty. Wether good or bad he will always say anything he would to others that he would say to your face.

We have looked down upon others who have made other sites but this site was not done behind anyones back. And no one who is on CDIH has left here or have their post contributions gone down.

So as I have said the site is a good site and I do not plan to leave here cause this always is home for me. But I will also not be forced to choose one over the other. But don't try to burn someone behind their backs either.

Loose lips sink ships...and for some reason I half-expected this to happen since the BTS leak situation has never been handled. I don't know why it is so hard to understand...things said back here are not to be repeated outside, period. If you can't handle this fucking simple wish, do us a favor and don't read BTS. Fuckin members just go to you when they want water from the well, and you just squirt away. Whether you agree with this sites owner's wishes or not, it is not an excuse to repsond to others, especially those who are the focus of a BTS conversation or argument, and tell them particulars or even generalities. That's just bush-league. And above all, it compounds the situation.
