I know I don't have to apologies to you guys and girls back here but I just wanted to let you guys and girls I am sorry I have not been around in a while... in the past two weeks I worked a total of 140+ hours... so I have been a little stressed and tired. But enough of that… I am done with another project…. Completed on time with full praise from the COO of the company… (sorry for gloating I am just quite proud of my work)

Simple question… why is Moron’s name not moving back and forth anymore?

Okay, I just want to go on record here as saying I have no clue what this is about and I pray it has nothing to do with my recent thread.

Sure, I didn't appreciate being made to look like an ass, but I never intended anyone to get de-modded over it. I'll stand by what I told Joey in IMs earlier, if he was removed because of what I said, I am totally against it and do not appreciate being the reason behind anyone's de-modding.

Uhhh... wake me when I am demodded...

AIM: SmarterChild

Write To Me Here

I think it all started with the Declaration of Independence -- the idea that we had the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That pursuit is what took America from the revolution to the computer age in 200 years. But the progress has come at a price. The obvious being the people that were exploited to make it possible; the not so obvious being us, the first group of people that were given no obvious frontiers to conquer. We hear stories about the good old days that don't seem to apply anymore. It's a generation gap that leaves us without role models. But the bright side is that without role models, there are no roles. Maybe that's what the 60s were all about -- getting rid of the roles. But what do we replace them with? Without any guidance, what do we replace them with? Without any guidance, the choices become overwhelming. Sometimes it just makes everything feel hopeless. So we destroy our bodies in the search of an ideal. Try to salvage relationships that don't work. We feel we must do something, instead of doing something that we feel. It is the prison of self-imposed momentum, and the sad part is that we get used to it. It reminds me of a song I heard the other day. It's called "The Going Nowhere Fast." But the people I have met here have shown me another side of Nowhere. They've pointed out the beautiful irony that stagnation makes it easy to stop and smell the roses, if we just let it. What would we be if we had nothing to rebel against? Well we could finally be ourselves, the first group of people who stopped looking for the answers long enough to appreciate the questions. And all we have to do is to make our own Declaration of Independence. We can embrace the right to life and liberty by simply realizing that happiness exists -- not to pursue, but to accept. After that the only challenge would be to make sure with the rest of our lives that we weren't just another fad. I don't know, it's an idea. What do you think?

OK, seriously, what the fuck is going on here?

Did Moron step down, or was he demodded. Wait, Someone spoke to Moron on the phone and he had no clue. Mods can't change member level, so that's out. FTL said it wasn't him. We all know it wasn't Vin.

Unless this is a glitch (yea right), I think Froy owes an explanation. PRONTO!

No, Froy owes no explanation pronto. As I told FTL yesterday evening, I had plans and would be away from the computer for more than a few hours. I haven't been online in close to 24 hours, since yesterday afternoon. If you want an alibi, I was at the Met Game, sat through 9 innnings of putrid play, watched the fireworks and then spent 3 hours in traffic trying to get home.

I haven't touched any members or mods accounts, so don't even begin to throw any accusations around.

Why are you getting so defensive? I am asking for an explanation as to who else has access to member levels. Since mods don't have access to changing member levels, there must be someone else that we don't know about who has access.

However, Froy, while I have your attention, I would like to ask why I seem to be on block as far as AIM is concerned. I read that other people chatted with you, yet I never see you on. Maybe I am being paranoid and that is a glitch too.

My apologies, sir...

I got very defensive because of this statement: "Unless this is a glitch (yea right), I think Froy owes an explanation. PRONTO!"

It had quite an accusatory tone.

As for you not being able to get me on AIM. I haven't been using it much, and when I am, I usually use one of my more private names. If I'm on my private name it usually means I don't want to deal with OA.com drama or bullshit.

Just to let everybody know, I was questioned by Austin about why Moron was not a mod for a few hours. I told him, I didn’t know, it was probably FTL fucking around with the coding. Sorry to blame you FTL, but I figured if I said that rumors would just be killed instantly.
