| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Dec. 00  | (I know I'm gonna regret posting this) Today, on the 30th Anniversary of it's original release, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is being released on DVD. It contains behind the scene footage, recent interviews with the "kids" and Gene Wilder. If you've never seen it, what hole have you been living in for the past 30 years. Well worth adding to your DVD collection if you have kids or feel like a kid (Gonzo - stay away from the children at Blockbusters. That's not what I meant). Bring it on tools. I'm expecting a ton or oompa loompa jokes. Go ahead. I know you tools can't resist a set up like this.  Stultorum infinitus est | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | Hopefully they tell how a clip of a chicken being decapitated got into the boat trip scene. For those that do not believe it is there, it is toward the end of the boat ride in the back ground video. That is not the only disturbing clip in the film but the only one that sticks out right now. | ||||

But there are still parts that you notice as an adult that you never noticed in the movie itself. Just pay attention to the whole movie especially the boat trip and the video playing behind it. By the way, Marilyn Manson quotes the speach that WW gives on that boat on the Opening to Portrait of an American Family. EDIT:Wonka Research Paper Check this out for someone's interpretation.
